I would ban the danish rip-offs of Idol. Punished by 1000 lashed with a wet human eating nudel.

Banning organised religion might very well make the world better... but people should be allowed their individual faith.

Sorry but, I would rather ban religion, and give everyone a handbook that tells you how you are expected to act. Oh wait, isn't that religion?

You're so right on.

Having a 3rd (or 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, etc.) child after your first 2 children were paid for entirely (and continue to be financed) by the tax payers (WICC, medicare, SSI, food stamps, etc.). Two is enough. Now get off your ass, and get a job. If you're irresponsible again, the baby goes up for adoption to rich infertile couples whose tax dollars are financing the other 2, and YOU are the lucky recipient of an IUD.

I'd get rid of all child tax credits entirely. In our overpopulated world we should be discouraging people from having kids, not encouraging them. And if you are on welfare for some reason (and, despite conservative propaganda to the contrary, it's usually not because of laziness) and can't take care of your kids on that welfare income your kids should be put in foster care.

I have to disagree on the bearing arms or baring arms ban.... on a sunny day its nice to get some color on your limbs. However, the gun issue is something i am firm on. Aside from the paranoid redneck stance, I wish to keep my firearms, because i am trained how to use, where to use and when to use them. There are classes and requirements in my state that make carrying a concealed weapon perfectly legal. It also makes you liable and responsible with what you do with it. Every person with a concealed carry permit has to go through a police department screening, have a written note from their psychiatrist if they are on medication or treatment, and pay for a training course. This training course covers not only concealed weapons laws, procedure and proper handling of a firearm, but also the proper situations a firearm can be used. A person must pass this course, written and on the firing range to even start the screening process for a license. I would rather have people who are trained and certified to use these firearms around just in case some nutjob decides to shoot the place up with his dad's gun. At least i know he would think twice about brandishing a weapon if he knows someone could be carrying and is trained to take him out on a few shots. I am hardly a gun nut, but we have hunters around here who actually eat what they shoot and teach their kids not to point a gun at anyone loaded, or unloaded.

Im not much on banning things, because i think it should be the choice of the individual to accept consequences for their actions and choose for themselves. Even if i think everyone else should think the way i do, I dont want them to be forced to. What's next, forced charity?

As far as religion goes, I dont want anyone to ban athiesim, or religion, because either ban is merely a lean towards fascism. If i am told i cannot believe in anything, I will surely break that rule for the mere principle.

I would ban telemarketing.
but i would also ban: stupid arbitrary regulations.
in fact if i had the power to I would removes most of the laws on the books today and replace them with a very simplified code of law that stresses personal responsibility. and doesn't expect the state to be our nanny.

I would also ban gun control everyone can and should be armed. perhaps I could go so far as to say that everyone is provided arms and training on good self defense.
