I've never received an official diagnosis but I voted for the first option. Fine motor coordination is more affected.

There are two kinds of people: those who can pat the top of their heads while rubbing their bellies in a circular

Haha, I just tried both of those things, failed both times. Anyways, I've always had horribel motor clumsiness my entire life. In school when I am walking down an isle of desks, I will bump into them, trip over people's backpacks they leave next to their desks, etc. Everyone else is fine, and can easily step over them, etc.

PE class, oh god, what an nightmare. Luckily I am exemped this year, even though it is required for most people. I missed the ball when it was thrown to me 95% of the time. It got to the point where I became one of those ball dodgers that would try to stay as far away from the action as possible to avoid it, this cut into my class participation of course.

My handwriting is atrocious. I make slightly jerky movements when driving a car. I'm just not motorly coordinated... period. 8O

I'm passable now, but I've always been hopelessly uncoordinated. Let me put it this way... while I was in physical therapy I was so uncoordinated I couldn't lift my back legs or my head at the same time while laying face down.

I slam into doorways all the time. My handwriting is horrible, but I don't know if that's the dysgraphia or just regular old clumsiness at work.

On the other hand, I did play sports through middle and high school and was actually fairly decent. So, dunno.

I'm much better than I used to be, having worked very hard at overcoming it, but still have problems with my upper body position in space & with using my hands (manual dexterity?).

I'm still a wreck (the difference being now that I'm older I just have more expensive stuff to break on the way down). Just yesterday I almost wiped out on an escalator. Even my autistic six year old stared at me.

My mom's a klutz, too. Earlier this month we had an unexpected snow and while my father and brother had no problems she slipped on the way out the door, feel on her backside, and sat up just in time to have the door swing back and crack her in the head.

I am constantly crashing into the edge of doorways, banging my hands on tables, bruising my shins on coffee tables, etc. I hit my head sometimes while I'm closing car doors or cupboards. It's ridiculous! I seem to not be aware of where all my body is at once, when I'm not super focused on what I'm doing. When I was little, I was always the last one picked in gym, and the worst kid on the soccer and softball teams (my parents made me play). Now though, my reflexes are fairly quick, so I seldom fall. I do have good handwriting though. I've been told my gait has a roll to it, but I can't say that I've ever really seen a video of myself walking, so I don't know.

Tonight a can of soup fell on my face, and my lip, nose, and gums are swollen. That wasn't my fault though...my roommate had put the soup on top of a box, so when I pulled the box from the cupboard the soup came crashing down.
