After all the stories I've heard about things that happen in massively chaotic situations - ie: car crash -- I think it would be handy for a medic to see a card like this when I'm either too spooked to talk, or full meltdown mode. If they tried administering medical attention to in that kind of situation, I'd likely harm myself or them. I'd also rather they know it's possibly just me having a fit rather than a sure sign of head injury.
Plus, handy if I'm unconscious and want to be forewarned that I am more likely to have a violent response.

I know NTs do all of the above but my experience in emergency situations is either shutdown or meltdown. I always request to switch seats when I'm on the emergency exit row of a plane (that, and I'm hard of hearing. Just not a good idea.)

I like the business card idea, especially in situations where one may interact with the person again. I don't think it'd decrease the awkwardness of the particular situation, but it may spread awareness. That's a plus.

Thats cool, it is a good idea, but please, type with less grammatical errors. It really bugs me when someone spells something wrong, it is just one of those quirks I have. Other than that, I think that is a good idea to have a card to hand to people instead of having to tell them yourself.

Not everyone is a spelling nazi like you psmaster, dyslexia is co-morbid with aspergers, and there are alot of members, including myself who are dyslexic.

The guy made a mistake and apologised in what seemed to me a pretty sincere manner - no need to call him a nazi 8O . English is not my first language and bad spelling and grammar can make it quite hard to understand some posts. Sometimes the mere difference between British and American spelling is enough to confuse me. Firefox comes with a spell checker that helps me a lot.

*edited for bad spelling, of course
