I imitated the action of shooting a friend of mine on my music course with my hand in a gun position... you know how you sorta position your hand in the shape of a gun...
A guy next to him said "You really are strange man" :rendeer:

Lessee...

- I like to do/have things in even numbers. I used to be much more obsessive about it as a kid, to the point where I would freak out if things weren't even and would have to do crazy maths in my head until I arrived at an acceptable even number. Now I can cope with odd numbers, but much prefer even.

- The exception to the rule is my collections. I collect stuff, but I cannot STAND to have two of something. One is fine, three is fine, but two is wrong. See, one is stand-alone, and three is a 'small collection', but two is... argh... I have to find a third or throw away one, or I'll be worrying constantly.

- My collections. I collect things obsessively to do with my interests. My current obsession is Sonic, and so I have several thousand £'s worth of Sonic merchandise. My room is like a SEGA museum. I also collect WWII/biplane aviation stuff and bottle caps. I get very obsessive about finding and buying/winning certain things and I can be pretty careless with overspending.

- I am terrified of sudden noises. This means that I am literally phobic of thunderstorms and fireworks (I am 23, yet will huddle under the blankets and cry if either of those is happening outside). When I am in the kitchen using the microwave/kettle/toaster, I will watch them religiously and flip their power off right before they are due to 'ping', so that the sound won't startle me. If someone says "Boo!" to me, I will probably shriek then break down and cry.

- I like to wear exactly the same type of outfit all the time. Long-sleeve shirt with a t-shirt over the top, and jeans. I have a few sets of each so that I can mix and match, but I feel VERY uneasy about wearing anything different.

- I have to have my entire 'safety kit' with me whenever I go out. Wallet, phone, water bottle, mints, painkillers, tissues. If any of those is missing, I will be thinking about it ALL day and worrying.

- Like many others here, I cannot sleep without a blanket or some sort of covering, even during very hot weather. Also, in hot weather, a thin sheet still isn't enough. It has to be heavier material.

- I jiggle my foot all the time, relentlessly.

- It REALLY bothers me if someone touches something of mine. I can get quite upset if I find that my stuff's been touched or moved.

- I can't stand people being behind me if I can't see them. It makes me feel so on edge and jumpy. Even if they're not near me or even looking at me.

- I can't listen to spoken voice through headphones. It has the same effect as someone standing behind me, and I have to take out one earpiece.

- I used to be absolutely phobic of telephones and could not use one at all without having a panic attack. I use them now (I have an office job and have to), but I still dislike them and get really stressed if I have to use them for long periods of time.

- I get very upset if plans are changed or my routines are disturbed; for example, I have to get into and out of the shower a certain way and wash myself in a certain order of events. Getting ready for work and settling down again at home have a routine. I always sit in the same chair and I get very upset if someone else takes it.

- I can't wear anything that has fabric that brushes the knees.

- I am a magnet for electric shocks. I seem to get them ALL the time, no matter what, from EVERYTHING.

- I completely adopt the accent of whoever I'm talking to. When I talk to my American friend, I have a perfect American accent, but I switch back to my English voice as soon as someone else talks to me with an English accent.

Wah, carried away... but I'm sure there are more! :P

Edit: Ahaha remembered another couple:

- I'm obsessive about grammar. I get really worked up about people saying "could of" instead of "could have", or "try and" instead of "try to". Spelling errors in professional publications also distract and enrage me.

and

- I'm obsessive about closing up the letters in joined-up handwriting. If someone, for instance, doesn't close their 'o', I'll have to lean over and do it for them.

All right, a post where I can discuss the quirky things I do. Well, the stuff I notice.

I jiggle my leg or tap my foot all the time. It feels unnatural to try to stop. I do this thoughout most of the day, and sometimes I move so fast my desk will shake.

I always have paper and pens with me

When I'm in my room, I'll listen to music and "act out" my daydreams though from what I've heard I just look like I'm having some sort of fit involving twirling, running, and yelling random sounds so it sounds like another language to me.

I feel sometimes that if I think something bad about someone that they can read my thoughts

Like a bunch of other people here, I sleep with a blanket.

I always wear a jacket when I go out, even in summer, because buildings are so cold usually.

When I'm in a silly mood I'll just make nonsensical noises and I find it makes me very happy.

I sway almost all the time when I'm standing

I'm sure there are more but I can't think of anything. ^^

Let's see...

I always sleep on my stomach on the left side of my bed.
I can't sleep without my special pillow and special blanket.
Everyday, I have to run while listening to music.
I always have to have at least one good picture of each of my favorite anime characters.

I don't eat green candy. I pick it out and eat all the other colours but green. M&Ms, skittles, whatever.

I have to have my survival gear with me whenever I leave home. Wallet, cell phone, MP3 player, book, book light, allergy pills, excedrin, baby wipes, shout pad, contact case, glasses, something to drink.

I have to have a blanket, more than one pillow, my teddy bear when I sleep.

I absolutely feel out of complete sorts and get very agitated if I don't talk to my son at least once a day.

Oh this is a fun game..

I only eat shrewsbury biscuits with heartshapes on them (1/3 have circles, 13 have stars, and these are my favourite biscuits but I can't bring myself to have the identical-tasting other sorts - so I make a dash for the packet when it's opened and take all the heartshapes)

I eat M&Ms and similar in rainbow colour order.

I have a fried eggs ritual, including which cutlery, waterbottle etc goes with it, and I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and feel the need to do fried eggs. I ran away from home for a week when I was 15 because my mother wouldn't give me back the right waterbottle for the fried eggs.

I can't leave the house in clothes that aren't the right mood. I feel like a ditzy wannabe popular teenager, trying on tons of outfits looking for the one that 'feels' right.

I can't sleep without a reasonably heavy blanket - I sleep terribly all summer because I'm too hot, but I never dose off without the blanket.

I check phone, keys, ipod, wallet at least 3 times before I leave anywhere. 1 or 2 checks just never convince me that they're in my bag, nor can I bring myself to leave any of these behind, no matter how sure I am that I don't need them this time.

I can't help but pick up a strong accent if I'm talking to someone with one.

I used to be terrified of phones, particularly the number 0 - I wouldn't dial anyone's number with 0 in it. Crazily, when I went broke as an undergrad, I got a job answering the phones for pizza hut (I was a star, the script covered everything, so I was little better than a robot, but much better than the people who got lazy and rude), and this gradually cured my fear. I still don't like calling or picking up the phone, but I can, and I'm quite happy talking on it.

I feel compelled to touch things that look like they have a nice texture, no matter how inappropriate that is, and whose clothes it is a part of - I don't *have* to anymore, or I probably couldn't teach - my poor students think I'm odd enough as it is :-)

Some people I can't bear to touch - and it's not people I don't like, in fact I can find no pattern, some people are just.... *shudder*, whereas I'm happy to touch others.

I meow as a greeting - a habit more than a quirk, possibly a remnant of thinking I was a cat for several weeks when I was young - I stopped talking and would only meow, purr, eat and sleep. I have no memory of this, but my parents were quite concerned.

That's plenty for now.

I don't wear jeans. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I hate them. The seam going down the side, just rubs me wrong all of the time, and makes me feel like scratching at my legs all day. I hate that the seams don't really lie flat against your skin like in other clothes. It's not just jeans, it's most denim. I think I just don't like the feel of it.

My boxers should be the right size (big, loose and elastic - not tight), shoes should be the right tightness or everything will be lost... Nah the truth is that I don't adhere to them that inflexibly, I can let it be without these things, but I know that I won't feel as good without them.

Well, he definately over analyzes just about every situation... and he seems very defensive and a little paranoid... so... yeah, he could be.
