…behold… those unholy titans have arrived again. Though forever trapped in their invisible prison, they attempt to escape once again and bring chaos upon the earth.
The alarm is given! The wail of the shadow flows across the land to make ready for the coming battle. At first a whisper, a hint of excitement, this wail churns and awakens many things. The tallest answer first as they begin to stir and sway. Soon enough, all which provide green and shade are alive to the coming danger. In their dance with the wailing, they prepare the army to battle the invisible danger by giving of their blood.
The sea that forever floats above; the home of fire and cool midnight silver flees from the coming battle.
Rising to thwart the titans reach for conquest, the army readies itself. Armored in vapor and wielding weapons of mist, the army brings forth many legions for the coming carnage. Row upon row, column upon column the army builds mighty fortresses until an unending barrier stretches from horizon to horizon to protect the earth from that which lurks higher above.
A distant boom fades into the darkness… they have come. Wielding massive mauls of might and spears of molten silver and bronze, the titans strike against the barrier that keeps them back. The army does it best to shield the earth, but alas a few of the spears breakthrough and plunge into the earth. The echoes of their mauls battering against the foundations of the barrier rattle the earth below. On and on the tempest goes, until exhausted the titans trudge back to their prison to sulk and brood for their next chance.
With victory comes a price. By the millions, the fallen of the army descend to earth. Like melted tears of some lost soul in a frozen wasteland, they land across the earth. Alas, their sacrifice is not in vain, nay they are gathered by those of green and shade to become their blood once again.
On and on this cycle will continue for eternity demands it.
