I got interrupted in the middle of the test for about 45 minutes(!) so it can't be timed. Interesting though that the high score possible then would be 140 -- isn't the highest possible IQ score 200?

It's interesting because if it measures intelligence from statistics then this is flawed until they already tested the whole population.

Those Raven tests are meaningless. Any IQ test that's not time is meaningless.

But by 'any' you can't mean a whole IQ test must be timed. Because Wechsler's have non-timed parts.

I can't understand what they want you to do! Am I the only one? It's all in Spanish.

There are no more instructions in English than there are in Spanish though. You just have to figure out which of the bottom blocks fits into the gap in the top picture according to the existing pattern. And I don't even think they tell you that.

(I had urges at times to put in different patterns that I found more artistically pleasing, but restrained myself.)

I got 56/60.

IQ: 130

I know I got one or two easy ones wrong by accident. I was rushing a bit too fast through the first 40 or so. Didn't realize it wasn't timed.

I just did a Raven test online

Do you know of any English or French language resources where you can find a Raven's test to do? I have in the past looked for some, and been unable to find any.

The test is not about language. I don't speak Spanish at all, but that's no problem. Those pictures are not in Spanish, they're in visual.

I tried a Raven's test and had to quit 1/2 through--I was getting dizzy and none of it was making sesne--too many patterns!

It reminded me of when I get lost in the mall or blank out and don't know where I am.

I guess this is not my forte.

Don't feel too badly. I felt the same. Since I have dyscalcula, I am sure that played a part in the brain fatigue.

What does the rango or range mean? Is it bad to have a I?

some of them are ridiculously easy at the start, that's what threw me off at first. i just threw the spanish stuff into babel fish (online translator) to figure out what it said.

Estos son tus resultados:

Nombre: Luc
Edad: 20
Respuestas correctas: 57/60
Percentil: 95
Cociente Intelectual: Muy superior al término medio

it's about the same as my WISC IQ. i don't know the exact number from my wisc, i only got the percentile, but i saw something in the 130's for one of my scores when i peaked at the official sheet.
