That right there, that statement, is symptomatic of a know-it-all attitude. Have you ever been threatened with violence? Yelled at?

I'm not a know-it-all. I know enough to know that there is a lot that I don't know.
But that has nothing to do with me correcting other people. I do it as much as possible, and for those who say that I should keep my mouth shut: why???? Not correcting people just seems completely ridiculous to me, unless you have the philosophy that there is no truth and that there is nothing that can be known. In that case, society should fall apart in about 2.5 seconds.

I hope you realize that is not true very soon. The most brilliant people in the world probably do not know your social security number, favorite color, etc.
