Would sora or sim mind telling what they got for 34, and 39, and why. And also what you picked for 38 because I see 2 distinct patterns that give 2 different answers.

All right, everybody who hasn't yet taken the test or wants to figure out answers to the questions 34, 38 and 39 themselves

DON'T READ

the following.

So I warned you all.
34 is the circle without points.
1 point in + 1 point in = 2 points.
1 point in + 3 points out = 2 points.
So apparently:
-1 + -1 = -2
-1 + 3 = 2
which means
-2 + 2 = 0

39 is complicated to explain with words.
The answer is
^ o o
^ ^ o

It works like this: take the next to last pattern. Now shift the the first row one to the right
from x x o to nothing x x
put the circle that no longer fits in the row into the 2nd row:
from o x ^ to o o x
same with the 3rd row:
from ^ ^ o to ^ ^ ^
put the o that doesn't fit in the 3rd row into the first place in the first.

Now change the triangles to crosses, the crosses to circle and the circles to triangles.

For 38 I picked F, the diamond with its black side up and with its white side down.

Huh, I didnt think to attribute positive and negative values to inside and outside dots. My problem with 39 is that I was looking for a pattern in the squares. If you'd check you would see that top right, and mid left are the same square, rotated 1/4. And the bottom left and mid right are also the same pattern, just rotated 1/4 again.

Of course now I see 3 distinct and correct answers for 38. :x

i got 102, but thats because if i couldnt see a pattern in the shapes within 5 seconds id just click something to get it out of the way... surprisingly that wasnt very often. and i got stuck on certain ones cause id be like "NO! that one needs to be a SQUARE! give me the square option! WHERE IS THE SQUARE OPTION?!"
