Also spudnik it is odd really odd because pure white cats shouldn't cause an allergic reaction are you sure your allergic to the fur and dander like most people?

Cat allergy's are the same for all cat's regardless of coloration, don't make me explain my allergy's to you, because you obviously don't understand how dangerous they are to me.

Dude I was just trying to be nice you don't have to get up tight with me. But I know for a fact that people with allergies to cats are not allergic to white cats. So are you saying your not allergeic to the fur and dander but the cat instead??

You should just drop it man. Right now you're wandering into the "Im not allergic to cats, but i know what you're allergic to better then you do" territory.

I don't like the idea of just any pet because I think some species should never be expected to be pets.

Of the domesticated types I have had dogs, cats, parakeets, rats, hamsters, and rabbits.

I like cats because they aren't as needy as other species. Parakeets I like because they are really easy to care for.

Cats for me. Or a horse!
I have three cats. Two were barn cats from the same mom, and the third is a Persian kitten.
I go to cat shows with them.

i have 2 rabbits and we get along ok

rabbits like things to be the same and i do also and with other animals there are always surprises like with the cats we had in the past you can only feed one kind of food then suddenly one day you need to try all over again to find what they decided that they want now but with rabbits once you find something they like then you do not have to change anything except when places stop selling what you need

I'd like a pet seagull (specifically Larus Argentus) I'd train it to poop on my neighbour's cars :)

Dogs are my perfect pet. There is nothing I love more in this world than a cuddly puppy that loves you unconditionally.

That being said, I would love to have an intelligent pet bird, like an African Grey. I really enjoy birds.

Cats remind of myself. Soft and cuddly when they are in the mood, and not as needy and sloppy and slurpy as dogs.

They are fastidiously clean and very self-sufficient, which is convenient.

I love all animals, but cats are purrr-fect (couldn't help that predictable little pun.)

Birds, like the sweet smart cockatiel variety that can whistle Yankee-Doodle with you, is nice too.

Perhaps there is no "perfect pet" for anyone, including Aspies, cause no two are alike.

OMG an octopus would be so fun in fact I just remembered a dream where I had a pet octopus. I wonder can you teach an octopus to play fetch??

Octopi are really smart too. But sadly have a short lifespan of around 5 years.

They may be intelligent but they also have terrible memories! If you taught them to play fetch you would have to re-teach them the next day.

Can you really keep stoats as pets in Ireland. As for a raccoon, it is a rabies vectors. Possums are nice. I had a starling, you can get one anywhere in the US by raiding a nest. They are legal to keep because they are not a native bird. they are cleve and can learn to talk. They eat junk food or dog food.

I was joking, I doubt you could tame a stoat.
