I'd have no problem with approaching someone whom wears an AS t-shirt as, I'd been amongst many people in my daily life whom dress in unorthodoxical manners therefore, it would not be odd for me to approach such a person...

Yes. But I would only say something harmless and in a soft tone of voice, like "interesting t-shirt" or "where did you get that t-shirt?" so as not to draw attention to the situation.

I find it hard to approach anyone, anyway, T-Shirt or not.

If I do see anyone with that T-Shirt, it'd be a shock.
People don't usually go around advertising themselves like that where I live.

I guess it's different in "bumper sticker land" and elsewhere.

I would think you were a bit weird.... I wouldn't say Hi, because I never say hi to anyone when I first meat them.
When I strike up a conversation with someone, I listen in to their other conversations first, wait for them to talk about something I know about, and then just as they finish speaking to the other person start talking to them...

I would talk to somebody, but I would never wear a shirt, or announce it in public, although i would tell everybody individually. the disadvantage here if that I forget who I told or didn't tell. Anyway, I would talk to somebody even if they had something else on their t-shirt anyway, like maybe a different disorder. Or a guy standing with a wheelchair shirt. Or a black guy whose shirt says "I'm white".

I wear my WrongPlanet T-shirt at work quite often but people do not question me
about it, but then I am always wearing weird t-shirts such as "Come To The Dark-side, We have cookies!!".

i do not approach people like that. But wearing an "asperger's shirt" is kind of silly. Why not autism awareness in general? It's not putting a label on yourself and is for everyone on the spectrum.
