-Do you have contempt for the human race? I'm ambivalent toward the human race.

-If yes, is your contempt exclusively for NT's? No. I even like some of them!

-If no contempt and are happy with the human race, why (because I can't fathom that ideal)? N/A

-How do you entertain your vision? Do you see one single, happy human family (like a peace and love gathering) or wish you'd be the World Dominator who's victory is his (or her's), annihilate humanity and rest (alone) in your castle? I have no vision.

Misanthropic, me?

Ok, I'll admit it. I've disliked humanity for a long time. People just want to do what they feel like doing as long as it's what everyone else feels like doing. This is called 'sociability', I believe. And if you don't want to do that, then you are 'different', which is the greatest crime known to man.

Well, to hell with sociability, and with people. and their endless copying of each other. They just want to fulfill their immediate desires and not care how it impacts on others.

Most people behave despicably to a greater or lesser degree. They will happily destroy someone else if it advances them, or even provides a moment's amusement.

What I experience isn’t contempt. I really have nothing to criticize the majority of people for being the way they are. I’m the way I am and they’re the way they are. I’m just outnumbered. That’s the number one source of frustration.

What I experience more often than contempt is complete lack of interest and apathy. Occasionally I feel some irritation at the simultaneous barrage of banality and isolation I experience around other people. The vast majority of people are excruciatingly boring to me.

No. Being in an academic environment I’ve had problems with professors who seem to have “aspie” traits. One in particular is very arrogant, anal retentive, and difficult to communicate with.

I mostly just don’t care.

I think I would rather become a disembodied viewer. Humanity is fun to observe from a safe distance. I just don’t really care to take part in it.

I would like to build a machine that makes a special radiation with brain waves that
interfere with violent thoughts so that people couldn't think them any more.

I got this idea once when I saw a bunch of people who got high on extacy and then they
hugged each other a lot and they were very nice and friendly for a while.

It's too bad Ecstasy (attn: spelling) destroys the human brain.

I only misspell bad words. You're right, it's too bad. That's why I imagined an alternative.

I don't have any hatred for humanity (at least not today  ).

I'm more or less filled, in fairly equal portions, with amazment and disappointment.

The human species is capable of such wonderful creativity, compassion and honour. But it can also be the worst of all species, with cruelty, selfishness and intolerance. But these are individual examples at either end of a spectrum.

As for NT's, they seem to me to have the same proportion of good to bad as those of us further down the spectrum. Being "normal" doesn't make you a good person or a bad one.

Put simply, many people are mean. They think their needs are more important than others. (as in traffic) They think they are smarter than others. (as in pointing out their spelling mistakes)
Humans just do awful things to each other on a daily basis, killing in the name of religion, something they invented seemingly just to treat people WORSE.
We all stink on ice.

I have a realistic view of humanity, ie. neither optimistic nor pessimistic. As for people, I don't tend to assume the worst of them except when I'm in a paranoid phase. 8O

I think that's a rather blamocentric perspective, if you don't mind my saying so.

Most people who cut you up in traffic or point out your spelling errors don't do it to HURT YOU.
They do it because in the case of traffic, their need happens to be particularly urgent and unless you show that yours is too, it's presumed that it's less urgent.
In the case of spelling errors, there is a natural itch that everyone will acknowledge, to rectify that which offends the literal/aesthetic senses.

Most people are too selfish to bother stopping to consider whether they're hurting or belittling others in spur-of-the-moment actions.
IOW, these happen because of inconsideration not malice (most of the time).

I have some contempt for humanity, but not for people. The man you meet in the street is not the globe of a***holes that exists. Judge people on a person-by-person basis. To do any less is simple prejudice. And to separate NTs and those with Asperger's is unnecessary. They're just parts of who they are, just like their race, their height, their opinions.

it would be preposterous to think that anyhting in this world would be original, wisdom can be found thousands of years ago and I firmly believe when one sends negative messages out, then negativity will work.

Positive thinking must be something we all ought to try. I rather quote something that is wise and maybe not original anymore than posting silly rants with no wisdom.

I wouldn't dare pretend that I am wiser or more original than Confucius or the Zen Masters or some savants in a holy book. Hence, yes, don't judge, try not to 'cause we all do everyday, if not ourselves then the others. Oh, ego!! !
