never caught on to cursive writing.
Spent a lot of time trying to 'catch on.' Worth it as I actually enjoy writing sometimes now. Often curse "Bring back pen and paper" when the Laptop cuts out, validating my efforts.

Oh yes, do I remember the commentary on my paper about 'why can't you do it neater?' 'neatness counts! D+' 'what's this?' 'there's no need to copy it three times and scratch it out' 'why can't you write in a straight line?'
Sorry you experienced that, crossing out all the time got me a phone call home..."Jenks crossing out her work and screwing it up in class, she is usually the last to leave."

Yeah, you do sound like you fit the description of "dysgraphic." I also can draw quite well as well. That, I think is because I take the time to draw, but don't have the time to 'draw' the letters.
Took the time. Wanted my handwriting to look a certain way, it took years, but I got there. Like lockjaw, I could not stand the restriction in my hands. It's even things like picking up sheets of paper and stacking, brain says fingers separate, hands slowly fumble to complete the task. Ridiculous.

One example is there are six common ways for me to write a capital F, depending on whether it is a name, the start of a sentence, first word of a paragraph, what letter follows the F, etc... It is a little strange...My hands cramp when I write too long or too much.
Relatable post. Various letter formations. Cramp from straining, though lately one of my fingers lock and would apparently benefit from salt tablets
