Actually, no i wasnt. Id probably tell you up front if i ever did.

Your post insults anyone who a) speaks a non-english language in a british shop or b) wears religious clothing. Or by extension, anyone who has friends/relatives who do. Therefore there are probably 100s of people out there who match that profile. the *bookmark* was my way of saying youve shown your true colours. Someone out there obviously noticed too!

helping refugees doesnt necessarily infer leftism or guardian reading, its just a nice, decent thing to do. Perhaps you dont possess enough empathy to comprehend that.

btw. if your not racist, presumably you wouldnt mind if you were the only 'native' in town and literally everyone else was the 'indistinguishable' immigrants you mention.

Truth be told, I've generally got on quite well with blacks and Asians — the ones without the chip on their shoulder.

Oh, and if "black" is not the right word, I really don't have a f*****g clue what the latest PC terminology is, and frankly don't give a damn, anyway.
