Over the years I've met many NTs who are caring, understanding, compassionate --
the largest concentration of them has been in the local peace activism community,
lots of Quakers and Unitarians, Greens and liberals. I've also met some fantastic
people in the local writers' club -- but there you have to be very careful, because
a writers' club also attracts a lot of people with ego problems, or brings out the ego
in a way other avenues of endeavor don't.

Ok! I show you some piece I wrote on something. I laid this out for debate, but deleted it. Just another way to go about things. I like to write too

The target.
He parked the car in a manner to make a quick departure from the area, then got out of the car, had another look at the surroundings, to make sure there was no obstacles he had missed. He locked the car, crossed the street, aiming for the public square, while he carefully watched the area, as to make sure no one was noticing him.
At the square he looked for a place he could sit as private as possible, but at the same time he had to spot the target fairly good. He got lucky, at the far side of the square stood a deserted bench with no people nearby. Perfect.
He walked towards the bench, again, made sure he was unnoticed, when sure, he sat down at the bench and tried to relax. Now, he began the familiar procedure, going over the task in his mind. He had to make sure nothing went wrong. He had done this task an unspeakable number of times, but this time he felt he had more anxiety than usual. After some minutes, he felt he had the situation under control.
He slightly turned his head, looking straight at the target. After a few seconds of hesitation, he rose to his feet, walked in a rather fast phase, directly at the target. Now, he did not care if anybody noticed him, it was too late, now he was in operation mode and nothing could stop him.
Reaching the target, he just hesitated for a nanosecond, before he entered through the doors of the mall, thinking; ”God, how I hate shopping!”

Mo

Mosez, great!!

You set up the situation with a great feeling of suspense -- your protagonist is up to something,
maybe something dangerous or illegal, and it makes us curious to find out what will happen. My only
suggestion is maybe try to work in a little sensory detail here and there to help us get closer
to the scene (what does the car key in his hand feel like? is there sunlight glaring off of
car windshields? any sounds of traffic or a fire engine siren in the distance? )

Apart from that, no one? Must be a real cool guy.

Well I would not say no one, my whole family minus maybe 1-2 are NT. I tend not to make judgements on people simply based on their brain wiring. If you treat me ok, I'll treat you ok back, treat me like crap and you'll get that back. Maybe I base it more on personality rather than labels.

OK! I'll treat you good. Amazing how these posts seems to be blown out of proportions.

Interesting, I never met anyone whose presence made me feel empowered. Till now, I've only felt more empowered when alone.

That would certainly explain your loathing. Or it is the loathing that explains you not experiencing this? Hard to say. :/ I imagine that there are people that take a near instant dislike to ephemerella's husband (you find this ephemerella?), and there are obviously those that will run afoul of his good graces. I imagine those people to have an attitude and outlook similar to the one you display here. :(

Was that towards me? Because I don't hate you. I'm not even indifferent to you, I kinda like you. :) There aren't many people that I actually hate.

But if you hate me that's cool. Just don't slash my tires or piss on my lawn, OK? 8) I tend to come over a bit BIG for some people, I don't engender too many 'indifferent' opinions. Some but not a lot. *shrug*

Sorry, but I don't hate you, you have not offended me, and you are entitled to your opinion. Some folks higher on this string, knows what i mean. No, man no offences. You just rest your case. I like you!

I had a nurse that was so unbelievably nice. She was cool. I wish everyone was that nice and understanding. Most people are mean and that's no lie. When people are nice to me I am nice back but if people are mean and make assumptions about me I tend to do the same thing in return.

That's what I've tried to say from the beginning. It's a special kind of people.

I don't know if she was actually "special". She was nice to me but I don't know how she was with others. When people are nice to me and do not treat me with disdain and don't act like complete imbeciles I value that because in this lifetime I have been allowed to witness just how ridiculously mistaken some people can be...most people...so when I come across a rare gem (rare to me at any rate) it stands out and is cherished.

"Ever came across NT's you really liked?"

I don't anyone else but "NT's" to the best of my knowledge. Therefore I'd have to conclude anyone I've ever really liked in "NT".
