Opinion i can respect, discipline i cannot. i am not a child i am a full grown adult, with some greying as proof to that.

no, it was absolutely not a warning, SB2. neither is it an opinion - just site policy about personal attacks - you can read the guidelines here. personal attacks are not allowed, as you can see. i can now see that your comment was about the artwork rather than the person, but this was not clear at the time, as is borne out by others' comments.

i too am a bit of a luddite, so i appreciate that the link was a mistake (do i ever). however, we do try to keep the integrity of the page format, which is why i made the request.

i also understand your dislike of being treated as a child, and therefore request that you do not treat me as one either (apart from the fact that i'm several years older than you ).

And that is what i live for, lighting a fire under the arses of people. Right place right time considerations are important. I would love reading your abrasive opinions. And a person who plays the "Sophist" is highly respected by me, even if they have contrary opinions.

the way i understand it, one moderator acts on behalf of consensus.

Yes I realise you can do exactly as you want, as long as you don't upset Alex or the rest of the moderator clique. But remember, your position of power is nothing without the rest of us. You can get away with it now, because a lot of new people have joined after you lot exploited a certain unfortunate situation a while back; but sooner or later, the ol' chickens'll come home to roost. You see, in any organisation in the Western world people expect to see at least an attempt at some form of democracy, where the ruling elite are accountable to the users of the organisation. If they don't, they often vote with their feet.

Now, don't get me wrong in my pursuit of this point. I do realise you lot are not all bad, and that generally your motives are benign. But, if you don't tackle the problems I've highlighted, then you'll fail, and let down the people who rely on this place for support, entertainment or whatever.

So your complaint stems from you doing something innapropriate, and being angry that you weren't allowed to continue in that vein? In addition to your other posts I am seeing a pattern of very self centered, sad behavior, your so wrapped up in feeling sorry for yourself and outraged at other people for expecting you to follow basic principles (such as not bashing people in a SUPPORT forum) that you lose site of your own WRONG behaviors. Stop looking elsewhere, you are your own problem, and you are causing your own problems by not accepting that and trying to work with yourself to find a better way to deal with people and situations.

right, i just found and read the thread where eyeenteepee was "bashing you" and i found a nice little insult aimed at me too (as well as several other WP members).

you need to learn the difference between when someone is being friendly towards you and when someone is being rude towards you. i'm telling you this because, if you over-come this problem, you will find it easier to make friends in real life. if you didn't take yourself so seriously, you would understand that me and eyeenteepee were on your side the whole time.
