No, really.. REALLY! Plenty of people say and do a lot of useful things on here. I'm not surprised to not see any nominations for those people, instead I see nominations for people who I believe all have a high average post count per day (aka exposure).

That's a good point. I don't want to be part of a popularity contest. But I've been thinking about it and I came to the conclusion that if you don't post much.. how is anyone supposed to know anything about you?

I think it would be fun if we could vote on the sections, and then vote on who will win for that section. It would be very fun.

whether one is ASD or NT -- you get out of life what you put in - no tin terms of material gain, but in terms of a whole host of other things.

I nominate FO-RUM for the premium NUMBER CRUNCHER/STATS award.

I'll also nominate popularity, for similar reasons, but more for "being liked" for reasons XYZ. XYZ can be replaced with gender, good looks, personality, and sheep level (high level = more points). You may use as many of the replacements as you desire.

You forgot to nominate obliviousness, for lacking awareness, even though the signs are hard to miss.

I also nominate spudnik for adding his sense of odd humor to a lot of the threads here on WP. I can sometimes relate to them and...his avatar says it all.

I nominate Shadesofme for her elephant avatar. One of my aspie characters I created also loves elephants and is obsessed with them.

I nominate Millie for her tattoos.

I nominate my friend Tim Tex for his women dilemma and keeping it going

glider18 for his childhood photo

I nominate my friend Kilroy for being the most jerky person on WP and knowing how to argue rudely without getting himself banned.

gotta nominate Sue for this brilliant name to our Autscars Night.

What would an Autscar look like? The alien logo with the magnifying glass? :alien:

Little green statuette topic

I like the idea of an alien image for the statue. I think this is what Autscar should look like.

All these nominees. The only one I do not know is "No one", nominated by Spudnik. Mystery poster. Maybe a reincarnation of Tim_Tex?

There's always a Cast of Aspersians in these threads, isn't there :)

It's difficult to pick out names because I think everyone contributes in their own way -
not forgetting those who spend a lot of time reading our posts while only occasionally
imparting their own wisdom to the threads.
If I have to choose I'll nominate Greentea for consistently interesting and thought-provoking posts and the recently retired Tim Tex for being the most welcoming member.
