I'm just along for the ride.

Don't tell Vivi - this is real life. We are all just ahead of the growing trend for life to be lived online. By this time next year, cyberlife will be accessible enough that everyone will have it. And then little by little, the world as we know it will vanish, as everyone becomes completely autistic.
I for one, eagerly anticipate the arrival of the Vivi VR kit.....

Sexist polls? What about the whole sexist "What is Your Gender? REQUIRED question when registering for WP that has only 2 options: male, female.

Not that it effects me personally, or it is an issue I promote, but there are a lot of third gender folks out and about who make quite reasonable arguments against that sort of narrow categorization. Perhaps all Aspies are clearly hetro and it isn't an issue.

This is probably not the right thread to discuss this, and I am NOT asking anyone to out themselves.

But since everyone else can flirt with Vert their hard bodies or youthful glows or prospects for a bright future as enticements and I am hopelessly outclassed on all those fronts, I figured I had to go for the sensitive guy angle to even have a shot at getting a wink (looking over his shoulder to see if his wife is peeking).

i do actually agree with your comment about the "only two gender options" thing. might be a suggestion for the wrongplanet.net discussion forum.

yes, but for reasons known to a select few, no one ever believes me when I say how old I am. I did have a grey hair in 1988, but I was so excited I pulled it out to save it and then I didn't get any more
I actually carry my birth certificate as proof.
