Brilliant lyrics. Lyrics are very important to me. Check this out - all from memory - so they may be a little screwy.

Oh of corse, those are a given!! :D I'm totally into old Disney cartoons. I love them and I love the music! I can literally quote the entire movie of Aladdin from memory - words, sound effects, background music.. everything! I could probably watch it entirely in my mind lol.

Lyrics are very important to me as well. Your lyrics were all good except for Hakkuna Matata - It's 'what a wonderful phrase.. ain't no passing craze.' ;)

I also really like songs from the original Music Man (not the crappy remake with Mathew Brodderick blegh) - The Wells Fargo Wagon, 76 Trombones, Marion Librarian, and of course Shipoopi  and I absolutely love the Buffalo Bills (the barbershop quartet) in that movie!! ! When they sing Lida Rose it's awesoommee.

Excellent! What's the line? "It's our problem-free - philosophy!" And the baby Simba who sings has a really cute voice.

Re: Lyrics - I LOVE the Bare Naked Ladies because of that reason. They have the best lyrics ever!

"If I had a million dollars - I'd buy you a fur-coat - but not a real fur-coat - that's cruel."

I sing every day. I only sing things I've made up myself and there are only made-up words involved. Certain ones seem to emerge for different moods. There's a certain type for when I wake up feeling OK; kind of like birdsong. They also help me communicate to others who know what they mean; it's far easier than having to form words.

Yes, I sometimes sing for myself, but I'm not very keen on doing it for others.
