UPDATE:

Finally managed to get another call through to her. She hasn't been able to answer much 'cause she's been sleeping alot.
Anyways, talked to her more about the cancer. She said another reason they knew to look for it, though she was kinda embarrassed to tell me at first, was that she had blood in her poop (bloody stools). Said how they found it was MRI, and that how they diagnosed it was a biopsy & a look under a microscope.
Still trying to get more info, and also trying to get her mom's number so i can talk to her too.

I have questions.

1. Do you not have any relatives to ask to help you pay for the trip?

2. If you raise up enough for the flight then if you can't afford the flight then how are you going to afford food, a place to sleep amongst other things?

3. She has aspergers too?

4. How did you both meet?

My friend did prison time and one of the many cons he learned was how to take advantage myspace, facebook, message boards, and how to manipulate kind people to think they are helping you to get them to do all the leg work for you. Tricks to use are saying you have a terminal illness, broke up with an abusive partner, and about to become homeless. Other tricks are to get other people's pictures off myspace and photobucket so you could become anything you want to be. He said you should find sites set up by real families of the sick make a small donation and see if they will let you put the link to your site on it to get some spin off donationations from the people helping that family. Its freaking sick and a lot of people are doing it.

The guy who warned me about message boards spent his prison time writing to lonely female penpals who sent him money and stamps. He wrote to over thirty women he was making almost $12,000.00 a year off these women many of whom were single moms. When he was released from prison he had a women drive up from Ohio to take him home so his mom could save on gas money. He still writes to the women he wrote to in prison three of them are looking for work in the Buffalo area so they can be close to him. He is going to try to see if he can juggle all three or at least stay with the one who makes the most money. Scammers are out there and they brag to their friends on how much they are getting over on their suckers. Please do not become one.

NO! you should be ashamed of yourself, I am giving him a heads up of what to expect if things are not true. I was also looking out for the people wanting to send their money to help get him a ticket to see a girl he has never met. They cannot even get their stories straight on what type of cancer she has. The he wants to send him money for nothing do not make much money some are on government assisstance the money they sent would have been better used to get medicine, food, pay rent, and utilities you would not understand this you are only 15 you still have your bills paid by your parents. You want something I am sure you can ask your parents for it these people have to work for what they have or have to wait for their small monthly check to come in.

Get your head out of your head out of your ass before you make another ignorant post! You lessen all Aspies with posts like that.

We aren't suggesting he's a scammer. We are suggessting HE'S BEING SCAMMED and we want to help him. We are looking out for him! Just like we tried to look out for him when he wanted to date a 15 year old.

actually, for the record i wanted to wait until that 15 year old got older, then date.
Though obviously with that person things went down hill & i found somebody else.
& that's not even the issue, so why drag it up.

besides that, she's not asking me for money, i don't know how many times i have to say that.

This is just to say that although I don't know, ( I simply *can't* tell from the info we have ), if his girlfriend is telling the truth or not, ( the facts seem rather *confused* aswell as incredible, which is often aspie style when under emotional pressure, so it may actually be true ), I do believe that sean is honest, and perhaps, as b9 said, it is sometimes better to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I've sent sean some money, by PayPal, towards his travel/plane flight. He isn't trying to raise money for anything else, and nor is the girlfriend ... so ... I wish him all the best getting there, and hope that whatever the truth is he comes out of it ok.

Hey Ouinon, was Inception any good? I haven't seen it yet. I was going to one time 'cause i had a gift card i needed to use up but i got to the theater late, and ended up watching The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
