What was offered was for me and my mom to go visit some address.
To call a number which would provide my number through caller ID.
To open my FB account to visit another account which would reveal my FB account.
Does anyone here disagree with my refusal to do any of those things?
And do you feel that goldfish should be able to prove whatever he wants to about himself, without it involving me sticking my neck out?
I didn't tell you to go visit some address. I extended an open ended invitation for you to visit me at my home & offered to prepare a decent meal. Our dining table seats 10 and is wheelchair accessible w/ a makeshift plywood ramp up the two steps through the garage entrance or a quick lift by two able bodied people.
I'm not asking for, nor attempting to obtain, your phone number. Press the *## combination that conceals your number before you call. I think it's *57 here. Or download a free wifi phone/text app and use an anonymized phone number. Use whatever nerds use to conceal their IP address if you're suffering from paranoia.
I also don't care what your Facebook account is. I'm completely indifferent about it, honestly. Feel free to create a brand new one with a new anonymous hotmail address solely to add me & read through/search my newsfeed to your Sherlock Homes' heart's content.

If I can provide it, I will, and in return you suggest that I have some ulterior motive of discovering your contact information. Keep it, I really don't care if I have it or not. You can still feel free to go and confirm every detail I've shared & ask all the questions you want.

But that was not my intent. I figured EzraS would salivate at the opportunity to say "dance monkey dance, jump through my hoops," to which I would reply "I can use my body now; I can dance. (true) And I'm in good shape, plenty good enough to jump through hoops."
But instead he fires back with the unexpected, which is still a no lose position for me.. checkmate, really.
