YES!

You might be an aspie...

If you speak along with the automated voice introducing your voice mail

Haha, yes! "Hello, this is the phonemail system; if you're dialing from your extension, press 1..."

The other one that gets me every time...

"This book has been broken into multiple parts to make the download faster. You have reached the end of a part, but not the end of the complete audio book. Please check your library for the next part of this audio book. (11 second pause) Audible hopes you've enjoyed this program."

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 30 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

...When you look forward to seeing new posts in this thread.
...When you have just realized the term "Keep your chin up" doesn't literally mean that.
...When you are curious about what your next special interest might be.

......When the needle in the temp gauge in your car is about 1/8 of an inch higher than normal and you keep looking down at it to make sure it goes back down to normal.

by the time the prom came, they couldn't have paid you a million dollars to go to the prom

your teacher commands every one in the room to pair-off to discuss a topic and you are extremely relieved that no one wants to be your partner.

you've just described me!

you're an aspie when you see someone grimacing and think he's smiling.
i was wondering why the girl on TV who ran away from the police cars was smiling and looking so pleased with herself. after all, she had several murders under her belt and they were just about to get her...

You ask who speaks Polish and someone says ask Mr. Sheen. Your response is :?

You receive an email from your friend which says how he's known you for 9 years (can't believe it's been that long) and he always knew from the way you act that you're on the spectrum.

When you spend several minutes looking for an appropriate image to make a joke about not recognizing facial expressions before realizing that you can't possibly find one because you can't recognize facial expressions.

-When you cook or bake from a recipe you follow it EXACTLY how it says, all measurements are exactly on the line, etc.
-When you follow the same walking route everytime and you follow it a certain way ex-you have to walk in the middle of the sidewalk
-When you sort out your clothes by colour and type
-You either don't care about your looks and when you do care you have to look perfect to your standards
-You don't get all overly excited when your friends talk about guys
-You have no coordination and you can't do certain sports like swimming, skating and biking
-You like to follow the same traditions every year

Same. Apparently, this makes me odd. :? Or sensible, depending on who I'm talking to.

...When your desk is full of stim toys.

...When you catch yourself doing weird stuff with said stim toys (like putting a pin-print board on your head), and coworkers ask what you're doing.

This!

And this!

And this! I don't swim so much as I stay in place and splash. And when I skate, I basically end up walking in them.

This too! And sometimes it doesn't feel right because it's slightly different than normal.

When you husband comes out and tells you to stop rocking because you are banging the chair against the wall. So you stop and keep finding yourself doing it again and stop yourself.

When you have an mp3 of a song you burned from a cd that has a "skip" in it due to a scratch in the disc. Every time you think of the song, you remember it with the skip. And if you hear it without the skip, it just sounds wrong.
