Perhaps this one?

You may be an aspie if you browse the racks or the comic book store for hours, have a loyalty card with the shop, the owner calls you at home when a new comic of your favourite series is out and yet it takes you two years and a comment of a housemate to notice that you are the only female in that shop.

Mind you - that was the early nineties. Nowadays I shop online.

Might make you aspie or might make you the girl of many dreams.

You might be an aspie if you always respond to the question 'does my butt look big in this?' with 'yes, huge in fact'...
You might be an aspie if you like to re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-rewatch your favourite tv episode...
You might be an aspie if you dont have the mental flexibility to think of more than three 'you might be an aspie' sentences!!

You might be an Aspie if you listen to the same music over and over.

...If you realize four months after the fact that two of your friends were dating... And only then because another friend mentioned it.
...If you periodically start reading in the midst of conversations, and you're friends think that it's normal.
...If you are the only person in a room who thinks that the music is too loud.

You meet a sweet boy with autism and then you realize on the way home you have forgotten his name

You ask "what?" when someone asks you something because you didn't process the question so you need to hear it again

Your mother tells you to close the gate on the back of the mini van so you do out of impulse and it hits her in the back. You apologize about it and she starts crying as she holds her back and you run in the house because you don't know what to do and how to handle the situation. Then you feel guilty for running away so you try and go back but you feel guilty all over again when you see your mother in pain so you stay in your room.

You are too busy with what you are doing rather it's your interest or whatever and you don't stop to eat and you still don't eat even if your tummy is grumbling

You meet people and then you realize you don't even know what they look like because you didn't look at their faces

Your friend or partner or whomever makes plans and then that time comes and you get upset if it changes all of a sudden even though you didn't really wanna do it or were not interested but you are still upset about it because you were expecting it and now you have to switch gears again and it's hard because you can only do it once, not twice

You get given some packs of ear plugs by a friend. You debate whether or not to match them by colour; so that you're not wearing odd ear plugs.

Or is that just me?

You might be an aspie if you know and use words like echolalia, perseveration, mirror neurons, propioception, sensory overload, or neurodiversity.

You might be an aspie if you prefer being with foreigners over people from the culture you were brought up in because foreigners are more forgiving of your oddities and write them off as cultural differences.

You might be an aspie if you've memorized lists of things that have no pertinence unto other people..

You might be an Aspie if you consider on-line acquaintances to be closer friends than the people you see in person every day.

I've mentioned to my dad a few times that his music is too loud and he doesn't believe me.

If your ideas have made your neurologist a very wealthy man, and you still pay his outrageous fees.

If you have calculated ways to solve the economic crisis but lack the diplomas to open the doors and do anything about it.

If you think the rest of the world is stupid, and think constantly telling them it will help.

The truth always comes out of your mouth first when people ask you something. You always have to think ahead of time about lying so the lie comes out first. You have a tell when you do polite lies to spare feelings

You like wearing double layers of clothes because it feels so nice and soft

You are the only one who is bothered by a muted TV and no one else can hear it

You hold off eating because you are too busy with whatever you are doing and you don't want to stop

You prefer people who are weird or quirky or seem aspie like even though they don't have the condition but do to symptoms over lapping, they are aspie like

You had to go online just to find dates and a relationship because you did not find that possible in real life

You are only flexible and like surprises if it's something you like, same as with change and also if you don't know what else to do so you leave it up for other people to decide and you will follow along

Growing up, you only played with other kids if things went your way

As a child, your friends always had to pull teeth with you to get you to be flexible with playing such as letting them move your Barbie furniture around in your dollhouse and then promising you they will put it back when they are done

People always have to tell you what they want you to do due to "lack of empathy" because it does not come to you natural to just help them on your own or do things on your own for them

As a child, whenever someone messed up your stuff, you would get very upset and not do anything else until you were finished fixing it and you would have anxiety over it and be crying and screaming about it as you fixed up the mess

You played with your toys the same way over and over and liked to line things up and play with each part such as line the cars up and play with each car and then move onto the next one. Line up your Polly Pocket people and play with each one and move onto the next. You had them all do each thing and then move onto the next

You are always lying to try and stay out of trouble when you do something wrong because you know telling the truth would still get you into trouble when it was supposed to keep you out of it but your mother was wrong when she told you that

You mistake your acquaintances as your friends

You look back in your childhood and realize you didn't really have a true friend and you also realize some kids were probably your friends out of pity or because they felt they had to be your friend due to you being from special ed

You get obsessed with a person and you are always looking them up online, staking their posts, in real life it would be always calling them, always wanting to be around them and talking to them. Or whenever you get obsessed with a person, you totally ignore them pretending they are not there and you never call them or even speak to them

you might be an aspie if a great deal of your mannerisms tend not to be orthodoxical in nature nor form as a means of stating such..
