Your Aspie score: 161 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 54 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I do not like these tests. As sometimes the answer that I would give is not an option. I actually find that happening a lot on multiple choice/personality type quizes.

My AQ was 42. I took the other test a while back, and I don't recall the numbers. But I remember it said, "You are very likely an Aspie."

For those interested, these are the control questions. If you're having trouble submitting your form, check that these ones line up or are the inverse of each other:

1. "Do you get confused by several verbal instructions at the same time?" and "Can you easily remember verbal instructions?"
2. "Do you find it easy to estimate the age of people?" and "Do you find it hard to tell the age of people?"
3. "Do you have difficulty accepting criticism, correction, and direction?" and "Are you gracious about criticism, correction and direction?"
4. "Do you have a good sense for what is the right thing to do socially?" and ???
5. "Are you good at teamwork?" and ??? (never seen this one come up)

aq score = 43

Your Aspie score: 147 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 60 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I'm unlikely to be able to get a diagnosis either way because my doctor said there are no psychologists in this area who have any experience diagnosing asperger's syndrome in adults.

I'm in my late 30's now, so getting a diagnosis wouldn't help me much. I've found my own ways to deal with most of the problems that were very big problems in my teens. I have learned to avoid situations that set me off, and I have a filofax that helps me stay organised. I have realised that I don't actually need friends as much as I though I did, and I'm happy in my own company, or with family, or occasional contact with friends. I have practiced small talk, and found that 'when in doubt' it seems to work to ask an inpersonal question, because while the other person is talking, I don't have to. Eye contact I have sorted by using eye - to - ear contact. I would not take any medication anyway.

A diagnosis would have helped years ago, but not now.

I'm either a high functioning aspie or an NT with some aspie traits (depending on how you think about it). So confusing haha ...

I PDD-NOS too, but my scores seem to be higher

You are very Likely an Aspie

I don't think I have enough for that diagnosis, though. Maybe b/c I was closer to Autism as a child......
