Whenever I feel like dressing up a bit, I make up an outift that to me looks the shiz but as soon as I get outside I realise I look like a mental-case.

- I always wear black jeans (or black sweatpants or whatever they're called).
- I have two pairs of shoes I like and I wear them until they break and then I have to buy the exact same model again.
- I only wear jumpers/t-shirts/shirts which are a bit "too big" because I can't stand tight clothing (tight jeans are ok though).
- I can't stand jumpers/t-shirts that feel tight around my neck.
- I often wear the same clothes at least a couple of days in a row. Might not be that much but still.
- I never wear high heels, dresses or skirts. Can't stand them and they make me very self-conscious.
- I only wear dark colours such as black, dark blue, dark red and dark green.
- I hate shorts. I wear my black jeans in summer as well, even though it's very warm.
- I can't stand too many layers of clothing. If I wear a t-shirt and a cardigan and then I put a coat on when going outside I often feel very claustrophobic.

That's pretty much it I think.

I buy multiples of everything. I have 9 pairs of the same underwear, 3 pairs of the same jeans, 6 pairs of the same socks. I tend to wear some article of clothing until it wears out then I move on to another article (for example, work pants).

I can't wear turtlenecks.

I like pants that are tight around my waist but not at my thighs.

Absolutely cannot wear any heels of any kind.

If it's hot, or if I must wear a dress, I wear shorts underneath of it.

My primary wardrobe consists of a couple of gray zippered hoodies, 4-5 pairs of jeans and about 83 black t-shirts, most all plain. I wear clean clothes every day as I work in a very dust and dirt-filled environment.

Recently, my wardrobe did receive a major expansion. I bought a couple of earthy-colored (clay red, faded grass-green, stonewash-blue) button down casual shirts and today I am wearing a plain blue t-shirt that my father bought me a few of.

Although I could wear the same t-shirt more than one day in a row if it was clean enough, I can't do that with jeans. They never seem to sit the same on my large waist when I try for a second day with them... they always seem to ride lower and shirts never want to stay tucked in.

For colors, I am the same as many here: Earth-based tones of black, gray, blue, green, and a little red.

Oh, and I used to wear a hat EVERY day, usually a baseball cap. With my new job, though, I resolved to stop the practice even though they are perfectly acceptable. Now, I just save them for bad hair days.

I wear polarized sun glasses outdoors every day that the sun is technically out. They help me see and eliminate glare that used to cause me headaches.

I second everyone that would wear the same clothes every day and in high school I lived in an over-sized flannel-lined fleece jacket... now I live in my grey over-sized sweatshirt that matches my hubby's. If we're not careful we'll wear the exact same colors of pants and shirts out of the house together.

Also I have to wear clothes a lot to decide if I want to keep wearing them... they feel new if I don't wear them often enough. This of course infuriates my mom who has great fashion sense and will actually change her outfit five times in one day if the situation calls for it.

I have to put on my shirts before my pants.
I refuse to wear bras.
I wear long sleeves even when it is 80 degrees Fahrenheit outside.
I will not wear gloves (unless I am snowboarding), even if my fingers are numb and it is 0 degrees Fahrenheit outside.
I wear pants when it is above 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
I wear the same pair of pants most every day.
I have to have a shirt tucked into my pants to prevent any air or wind touching any possible gap between my shirt and pants.

I've been wearing these same white long johns for months now. I'm between jobs so I've become ultra lazy. I also only have one busted up pair of sneakers which I wore to work and wear when I go out to the store. They're 6 years old. I think I might be due for a new pair. Come to think of it, I also only have one pair of jeans, a black pair purchased about 7 years ago.

Hi!

I think I have weird clothing habbits:
I always have to wear long underwear (long johns, woollen tights, leggings, ...) - mostly more then one layer - under my jeans. All year round - even in extreme hot weather. I can't explain why - I just feel the need to wear them.

Greetings, Chris

I always wear two shirts together, when I was younger I remember I was going to wear a skirt on top of my trousers but my mother didn't allow me to hahaha

I just simply, go out regardless how it looked as long as it's comfortable.
If I go out in a short walk, I'll just get a t-shirt or anything longer/bigger in size, then I can get out without a bra, while my long hair lays over the front. It didn't made me worry if I go out at night.
For some reason, I end up wearing the same clothes all over the entire day, up to several months, even after bathing. Even after changing to another clothes for an occasion just to put back the previous one.

Also, I hate wool, anything that exposes me, and anything too tight. I really never worn a skirt above knee length since, I don't know, when I was like, 6? I'm glad my mom knows my clothing preferences, since she's quite a 'fashionista' herself... (Otherwise, I wont hesitate to give it away to someone else, or burn it; I don't care how expensive or what brand it was; what IS uncomfortable IS just that way for me.)

I like to wear several layers and I feel uncomfortable wearing short sleeves, so I wear a jumper almost all the time. I think the main reason is that I need to feel something on my skin, because I can take it off in very hot and sunny weather.

This makes me wonder what's "weird".

Yes, I wear shades during daytime. It prevents headaches, since I don't do well with bright lights. Indoors I will ask, if possible to dim them or turn some off. But I've gotten confident about this to not consider it weird. It's not any weirder than anyone wearing a hearing aide, reading glasses or keeps his coat on indoors because it's cold.

If people consider it weird, it might very much reflect upon their frame of reference to what's appropriate and how limited their mind must be to not consider someone to wear something for a reason. But then again; I'm also a proponent of the "rule of cool" and believe that doing something in style if perfectly fine.

If we're going by "weird" one can even consider the fact that the type of shoes I have are weird, since I have no "formal" pair... I have sneakers, I have platform boots, I have combat boot-like things. If I were to show up somewhere and the dresscode is formal, you better deal with the fact that I show up in sneakers, black BDU pants, a shirt and a black hoodie. People might consider it weird that I wear hoodies and a lot of clothes that come from the army surplus store... I find it equally weird for people to wear a suit because a job would tell them so... but hey, that's just me.

-I don't care about matching my socks, I grab whichever ones I can find.
-I don't like wearing shorts, even if its hot out.
-I wear rather warm hats more appropriate for winter when not necessary just because, I like to I guess.

And probably other stuff, then again my general way of dressing could be weird to people who knows.

I wear hoodies when it's nearly 100 degrees here in Arizona. XD I love my hoodies, and I also love my Loki hoodie too. It's hard not to wear it when I feel like it. The only reason I'm wearing it now is because my room is cold. I also wear pajama bottoms in nearly 100 degree weather, but that's only because I only have three or four pairs of track shorts and one pair of denim capris I wear. I also wear animal hats as well. People often ask me if I'm hot wearing them plenty of times. XD I just love them because I'm so used to having them. My hair gets really frizzy a lot, so they look better than having my hair poof out too.

When I find something I really like, I buy multiples of it, in different colors or patterns if available, otherwise I just buy multiples of the exact same thing. I have around 14 of the same nightgown, a dozen or so of the same pale pink t-shirt. Sometimes store clerks comment when I'm buying multiples, it really annoys me.

I'm getting to the point that it is so hard to find shoes I like, I am planning to buy at least two pairs when I find some that are comfortable.

I wear things I like until they either wear out, or don't fit anymore. I don't care if they are out of fashion. Sometimes I buy a replacement on ebay if I need a bigger size. I would rather get the same thing than to have to go look for something new.

I have to wear layers in cooler weather so I can take stuff off if I get hot. I'm prone to going back and forth between getting overheated and getting chills. I may wear a long wool coat when other people are just wearing jackets, but when I take my coat off I may have on short/half sleeves while other people are wearing long sleeves or sweaters.

I love to wear a scarf and I have lots of them in all different colors and thicknesses, some for cold weather, some for warm weather. At home I like to wrap my head in a scarf.

I hate wearing things that bind against my elbows or knees. Most jeans/pants are uncomfortable and it feels like hard work to walk in them. I mostly wear skirts, but I like loose fitting, wide leg pants.

Close fitting or tight sleeves bother me, unless they are very stretchy. I hate those weirdly shaped short cap sleeves that pull down tight on the shoulders. My favorite shirts have flutter sleeves.

In warm, sunny weather I love to wear a wide-brimmed straw hat. I have a parasol which I would like to use but I've had relatives threaten they won't be seen with me in public carrying it. LOL I would also like to wear gloves year round (thin cotton ones in summer) but again, people think that is weird.

I guess my clothing aesthetic is somewhat Victorian or Edwardian. I feel more secure with a hat on my head and I wish it was still fashionable for women to wear fancy, custom-made hats.

I also love 40s/50s inspired clothing (polka dots, peplum shirts, full skirts). And I love floral prints or damask.

Sometimes I feel really out of place when I go out in public, and I'm all decked out in layers of clothes that coordinate, and other people are just wearing really simple clothes, like a t-shirt and jeans.
