It's a place with a lot of food. I like sorting through recipes and thinking about whether or not I would like the dish once it's made.

My escape is LOTR. I also like Huckleberry Fin and Tom Sawyer.

I don't escape my problems, I deal with them as best I can. When I want to get away from just people in general though, being in my room watching Batman The Animated Series can work wonders for me. I could spend weeks in there just doing that if I didn't have to worry about food or money.

When things just get too busy/noisy to deal with and I need to disconnect, I mentally play back music - invariably something classical, but especially Bach organ pieces.

Sitting on warm soft grass, leaning up against an oak tree [or any tree, I love oak trees] reading my all time favourite novel.

Standing on the edge of the world watching my dogs run around, being dogs, while feeling the sand between my toes and hearing waves crash and seeing nothing but blue sky and ocean.

Cantering on a horse, feeling like I'm flying.

These are real and in my mind for places to escape to.
