Some people thought computers were beyond me but, I managed to acquire certification in the area of troubleshooting & tech support including internet security management..

I flunked out of college. Then went back a decade later and got straight A's.
I suck at math, but forced myself to become a mathematician anyway.
I have planned out every possible task for the next year.
I once had a roommate who stayed more than a semester.
I have written more comic-books than I have read.
People like listening to the sound of my voice.
I went an entire day without stimming once. AN ENTIRE DAY!

Aspie=Fail

I can play guitar, and I can sing.

Well enough that I was in a creative arts college majoring in vocals, and minoring in guitar.

Aspie=Fail

So doing creative things disqualifies aspies, huh? If so, I'd like to add a couple more things:

I'm an English major.

I'm good at writing, and started out as a creative writing major.

Unrelated: I've been known to like some sports.

Aspie=fail, again.

I am a member of 5 amateur radio clubs, and on several committies for one of those, and regularly attend all the meetings for those. This is in addition to the events I volunteer at, the disaster response team I am on...

Aspie = FAIL

I have the best sense of humour of anyone I know. When I get going, I can make almost anybody cry with laughter. I've been told many times to be a stand up comedian. My sarcasm, jokes, and blunt humour are famous amongst those who know me well.

Aspie = Fail

When I had a miscarriage, I grieved and was upset.

I work at a fast-food restaurant as a drive-through cashier. Have been there since last September with no signs of trouble.

I have a good sense of humor.

I can read people's emotions and intentions pretty well.

I have a good imagination.

People open up to me about their problems and I can usually give them decent advice.

I have a boyfriend.

Most of the jobs I have held have involved interacting with people, and I actually enjoy that aspect.

1. I don't get the point of this thread. Aspie = PASS.
2. I'm not good with the opposite sex. Aspie = PASS.
3. I am good with computers. Aspie = PASS.
4. I'm good at math. Aspie = PASS.
5. I suck at music and art. Aspie = PASS.
6. I never smile. Aspie = PASS.
7. I do OK with public speaking. Aspie = FAIL.
8. I tolerate crowds. Aspie = FAIL.
9. I can't stand noise. Aspie = PASS.
10. I make jokes that nobody gets but me. Aspie= PASS.
11. I don't have many friends. Aspie = PASS.
12. I live alone. Aspie = PASS.
13. I was talking by the age of two. Aspie = PASS.
14. I can drive cars and fly aircraft. Aspie = FAIL.
15. I have trouble getting and keeping jobs. Aspie = PASS.

Except for a few items, I seem to fit the aspie stereotype pretty well.

I'm a decent public speaker

I got my drivers liscence at 15

I'm always the person at parties who makes people get up and dance

Have given presentations
Performed in play and given puppet shows
Good sense of humor
Like driving across country
Like to snowboard
Can throw a ball and catch
Don't think about math
Not into video games

Aspie = fail

I have been in plays and stage shows
Aspie = fail

I know how to look less scruffy than my NT female counterparts
Aspie = fail

I have a loud voice
Aspie = fail

I go to a gym
Aspie = fail

I got along with the "cool" kids better than some of my nerdy NT friends
Aspie = fail

I completed a university education
Aspie = Don't know?

I've got more aspie = success stories though

I understand and use sarcasm, irony, and figurative language.
I have no interest in math, science, video games, or computers.
Most of the time I enjoy driving.
I can do public speaking okay if I've rehearsed enough.
I have an imagination and a sense of humor.
I don't speak in a monotone.
I like to read fiction.
I can make pretty good eye contact.
I care about my appearance.

Aspie = FAIL.

Don't go ecstatic over video games.
Don't know much about IT.
Don't care for anime/manga.
I get along better with the humanities people than some nerdy NT pals do.
I understand literary irony.
I write symbolic poems.
I actually hug friends now. (though they always initiate the hug.)
My friends like to consult me about chemistry homework. I can explain it well.
I like Charlotte Bronte's emotional novels.
I can crack jokes.
I pretend my teddy bears are my children, and some of them have bigamous gay marriages.
I attended the prom last night.

Aspie=Fail.

I gained a group of friends around 6 years ago, and a year later we kicked out the leader cause he was a douchebag...and I became the new leader.

Even though I can't pick up on body language too much, I can usually tell when people don't like me, i.e. virtually always.
