I'm very uncoordinated but I'm taller and stronger than most women so that tends to make up for it - not that I've gotten into a fight since I was a teenager.

I grew up with a nasty father in the 1970s, my mother died when I was 13, along with a condition nobody understood and constant ticking of my head, watch out if you came near me.

I was so violent social workers sent me boxing to soak up what they believed was anger, it had the opposite effect, I ended up fighting more, I would beat up bullies and anybody else who thought they were tough. I had quite a reputation as a street fighter even taking on 2-3 people at a time.

I was known as the toughest kid in my school, I guess it helped that I was built like a battleship and pretty fast with my hands. Of course the only way to get rid of any reputation is to move away where nobody knows you.

I had more than 150 fights and never lost one, one of my teachers thought I could have been middle weight champion, unfortunately I never had the right mentality or the right guidance.

I know fighting is wrong now, but growing up in the rough neighbourhoods I came from with a bullie for a stepfather, I'm glad I kicked some ass, especially when I came across any bullies...

I possess reasonable martial arts skills- I have a purple belt, two below black, in kickboxing- but that counts for very little in a fight.

I'm not opposed to defending myself but just because I am willing to fight to defend myself doesn't mean I am capable of fighting. I am worse than useless in a fight. I couldn't even defend myself from an ant. In elementary school I got clobbered by someone half my size and probably 3/4 of my weight. He knocked me on the ground and stomped on my head repeatedly. This was before hormone therapy so I even had thee help of testosterone and it didn't matter because I'm clumsy and uncoordinated. I just can't fight.

I can kick about as much butt as a bowl of oatmeal in the freezer.

Fighting capabilities?
I have none. The most I could do is cut my finger and threaten the assailant with biological warfare, although they probably wouldn't care.

Rate 1= superman (fighting skilled, good at it, fit, not afraid to make your point and fight for it if necessary)

Up to 5= flower collector, ie, avoidant of fighting, aggression, don't see the point of it anyway, run a mile if you see trouble starting.

I hope that you can fit into the 5 ratings lol....

I don't think you're poll options are very good. You go from average to not seeing any point to fighting.

Me, I was have been in some fights as a child and early teen, and I can't say I was very good at it. But I did fight at times and sometimes it could clear the air, so I do see a point to it, at least at that age. Since I'm not a pacifist, I picked average though my fighting skills are below average, but I see the point as it has helped me clear the air with some people, so I couldn't pick option 4 or 5. I wasn't (and am not) skilled, but I didn't wimp out of fights either, and once I was the challenger (a girl who had been a pain for a while), other times we were equally good and once a girl sort of forced the issue.

#2. I can't do arguments, but I've definitely had my share of physical confrontations, including some that I've won. I'm a fairly big guy though.

Also as a toddler I'd hurt kids to express myself.

Lol, me too! I once hit someone over the head with a rock. This got me kicked out of elementary school and destined for an entire life of homeschooling!

How about I haven't been in enough real fights to know?

In "play" wrestling I was strong but I didn't have the killer instinct to win because I was afraid of hurting the other person by accident when trying to get them to tap out.

The worst thing I remember was being at a friends house. I got pissed at the friend's older brother who was usually acting like a bully. I shoved him so hard that he fell into a glass vase and cut his hand badly. He was bleeding profusely all over the place and I was shocked at what I'd done. He weighed a lot more than me so I didn't think I was going to actually push him to the ground.

I LOVE a good physical fight. Even as a little kid I would start them just because I loved the thrill of the fight. I always won physical fights if someone didn't intervene because I would bite and aim for the privates. Sometimes I wish someone would attempt to attack or rape me just so I would have an excuse for a good physical fight. I used to want to be a cage fighter until I found out you could not bite, aim for the privates and could only fight same sex opponents. I love a good fight. I've always had a violent nature but being bullied as a child just brought it out even more and in case your wondering I am a chick.

Lol! Can't only fight same-sex opponents.

Too bad you don't live nearby. We'd have at least one common interest. :-)

Children used to start fights with me all the time for some stupid reason to the point were taling turns fighting me was a real recess game to them, I am not a hard opponant to beat, I don't feel much pain so I last a very long time and can usually hold them back for awhile. I can't inflict injurys in people becouse I feel its the wrong thing to do, I also have deep fear for police and teachers. I also relised at a very young age that the other kids seemed to get hurt and cry really easy where is I never felt physically hurt, so that made me a very gentle person by nature becouse I viewed my classmates is being very fragile physicly. I never started fights becouse of my major fear of payback, I always tryed to use my words to end conlicts although being autistic that always failed. In the end I always let people take advantage of me, hurt me etc., I could handle that better then fighting.

I think I would win against the "average guy" because I'm a big strong guy and I know how to throw a proper punch. There's a lot to be said about just having basic punching technique down, even if you don't know hardly anything else. But I can't rightly call myself a "fighter." I've been in almost no fights past elementary school (I don't think anything before the age of 13 really counts much). So put me between "average" and "fighter."

I was always really bad at the 'pre-fight' rituals, the pushing and shoving, the "I'm right here b*tch!" type of stuff. It would make me freeze up and the other guy would assume he had just dominated me, when in reality I simply didn't know how to respond or what I was supposed to do. Apparently that's an American thing. In most countries, such as Russia, if someone wants to fight you they'll just deck you out of the blue, no talking or posturing beforehand. I think that would have been easier for me to deal with.
