I was called ninja, because my classmates would see me appear out of the blue, be in the background for a while alone and then suddenly disappear.

A robot. Not "Robot" as a name, but they'd call me a robot.

Yeah. I started using "Dex" around 7th grade, and it stuck until I had to move my junior year of high school.

I was called a Cockney Rebel by one of my Co-Workers, a year before I quit my Job.

My Dad and his mate usually call me "15 Inches" because I talk so fast (as in "15 inches per second", referring to tape speeds since we're all sound engineers), and they've also called me "The Database" before now since I know so many facts about songs.

I thought it meant something else... you're going to get a few strange looks if they call you that in public.

As a child: bug eyes, google eyes

As an adolescent: crazy, kamikaze, gomer, goober

As a soldier: space cowboy, claymore(term of endearment from a Sergeant Major), rainman(for rattling off obscure facts in a monotone voice), crazy

Google eyes! that is another one I got as well as spider eyes for long eyelashes, and four eyes because I wore glasses. The kids my old school seemed to have a thing about aspie's eyes.

I was called Joe Cool in high school, because I didn't talk to people, I just gave them this look. To me it was get the F** away from me...I guess other people thought it was something else.

In the Military, everyone was afraid of me, because I never said anything (no friendships, no pain when the other guys got killed). And I had a pretty good "kill" record (not that I'm proud of it...but I lived through it....), and so people probably wanted to call me something, (and probably did behind my back) but no one did to my face, which is funny, because I'm about the least aggressive guy I can think of if someone else isn't trying to kill me.

I was called Herms or Hermie (hermit) affectionately by my close friends as I used to (and still do) hole up in my room for hours on end reading or on the internet.

of course. being an aspie perfectly combines with good looks. you don't have to speak if you don't want. the babes are all attracted to you anyway.

however. my teachers did think i was a bit of a smartass but they couldn't say that to anyone. lol. my quick wit and thousand yard stare kept all the would be bullies away. plus. my abililty to scope out the situation is second to none anyway and i rarely get into trouble.

anyway. the worst the teachers could say was that i'm too smart for my own good. that's not so bad.

Lol, never thought of that before! I guess the fact that I'm kind of the wrong gender for that to really work could cause some serious confusion too... :P Oh well, it works for us, and whenever they call me that I just call them "obsolete". (They say they're 7.5 inches compared to my supposed 15, so I'm more efficient technology than them! :P )

I decided to post some more original nicknames:

Floor Humper: I suck at push-ups. 'Nuff said.
Long Wang: no idea how I got this, maybe because I'm asian. My first name is Long. Unfortunately, it can have slightly different meanings: "How long is your wang, Long Wang?"
