Last time I was called a ret*d, I asked them whether it made them feel good to point that out to a ret*d.

Deep down inside I'd say, that I would come under the label for, when I was much younger often it was perceived that, I must have been very low intellectual wise for, not picking up on various educational components and all..I'll go on the record as stating, that I was in Special Education while in school though, at that time there was no definition of AS that existed therefore, I wound uo merely drifting in school just trying to makei it by which I did but, much to my hopes & dreams of an occupational future..Well, These days, I try to not let past torments bother me though there has been times where I've actually been treated like I was intensely stupid even by fellow Aspies without naming persons here on WP..In conclusion intelligence is always variable as, your IQ score can go up and down throughout your entire life..

I never studied when I was in school I did not see any point in it. They kept calling me a ret*d in school so I figured I never was going to be let into college because of my special education classes. I got out of the classes around 11th grade without studying I had a 78-85 in my regular classes a lot better than the idiots who called me ret*d who probably had to study to get their 70% grade. The teachers would be pissed when I told them I did not study for anything when they asked why, I would tell them everyone calls me a ret*d and you think its funny when they do so it must be true so why bother. I told them that to make them feel bad because I like being a dick. I graduated with an 83 or 85% final 4 year average I was ranked 93 out 286 kids who graduated. Not bad for someone who everybody thought was slow or ret*d.

I think it is wrong to call some one a ret*d to them. I would rater not hear me being called that.

When I was in like 6th grade of something like that a student asked me if I was ret*d, and I was like, what is that? And then she said yes you are then. OK really before that I had heard the word ret*d once. Yes so you are going to know what a word means the first time you hear it. When I found out what it means I got really angry about it. Forreal nobody said the word ret*d when I was a kid so it was inpossable for me to know what it meant. Now I hear the word all the time.

So about a year or two ago, my cousin were with my aunt was she picked them up from there dad's house. And they started crying and told my aunt that there grandma called are family names. I don't remember was they said about the other people in my family becuase I don't even know some of the word, but she called be a ret*d. My dad got really really angry when my aunt told him what she said. Oh and get this...my cousin grandma is a social workers Do you think a beeping social worker should even keep a job when she calls people with autism ret*ds! She works with people with autism and she called them ret*ds also! I feel sorry for my cousins for having her as there grandmother. Everyone I know what knows that woman hates her and says she is a female dog! She is always yelling at my cousins for no good reason, and she hates my cousin step brother. WHO HATES A 11 YEAR OLD I MEAN REALLY!

I've been called a ret*d, but I am not. My IQ is above 70.

When I was in kindergarden there was this little jerk around 11 who made fun of me for not cussing yet. My parents raised me right I never really swore until I had contact with kids outside of my street. He said if I did not swear that means I am ret*d but he will do me a favor he will teach me whole bunch of swear words but I have to ask my mother if I am saying them right. So like a good little boy I asked my mom and she told me I said them right and asked me who taught me how to swear so I told her. My mom makes a phone call to the kids mother. When I was on the school bus the next day he would not sit near me his older brother was laughing telling me he got spanked by his mom then his dad when he got home from work when they found out what their little precious was up to on the bus. Ha Ha

That happened to me, probably because I also wore glasses so I not only acted differently, I looked a bit different. I was one of the smartest kids in my class, especially when it came to reading. Now, I do have a cousin with an IQ of 70, but that was because he was born prematurely and was actually lucky to have survived infancy. Now, he's a bagger at a grocery store and has been doing that for several years.
