Since everyone else is doing it, check out my chicken scratch. I'm a girl too, btw, which makes this even worse:

I do indeed have terrible penmanship. The note posted above, looks much cleaner than some which I write. I have trouble keeping uniform size of my writing, throughout a note. I start large, and as I realize I'm running out of room, I'll write smaller, smaller, and even smaller.... Sometimes eventually to bend 90 degrees and write vertically in the margin. With that said, I pride myself in using excellent grammar, punctuation, and flawless spelling. People tease me for placing too much effort on those things in texting. I apply the same care to texting, which evidently very few NT people do. There's nothing more bothersome than trying to plod through an e-mail without punctuation, and/or without suitable capitalization. My spell and grammar checkers on my computers are shut off in order to keep me on my toes  .

My handwriting is good. I like to be creative with it. I started out with the worst handwriting on earth because I was diagnosed with hand/eye coordination issues, but after the age of 14, my handwriting went on this betterment crusade and it improved substantially. I used to erase mistakes with such intensity, I would smudge the paper and it would rip. Eventually, I stopped making mistakes altogether. It just took some time.

Hey I'm ambidextrous as well. It doesen't really matter which hand I use, but my left hand is 'dominant'. I've always had this ability, but it didn't prove usefull until I started using computers. My computer setup does not allow me to use my left hand, but fortunately that doesen't matter. Whenever I encounter 'discrimination' against left handedness (scissors, computers etc.) my right hand is there to save the day. Drawing or writing with both hands at the same time is also a neat way to improve your productivity. The only thing I can't do with my right hand is throwing. Also I'm not able to throw a frisbee with my left hand.

My hand-writing is much like:

http://www.wowforum.nl/fotos/handschrift.jpg
(How do I insert images between text?)

It is actually written in Dutch. This is the hand-writing I had since I was 5 years old. At 8 or so, I learned to connect the letters, but it got ugly. When I was 12 or 13 years old I start imitating italic printed letters, but later on, I was 17 or so, I reverted back to the hand writing at age 5. I am 43 years old, and I still use this hand-writing.

I also have Cyrillic hand-writing. I learned that in Bulgaria and I use it for other Cyrillic texts. I still have the italic version of Latin and Cyrillic hand-writing, based on the italic writing at age 12.

I also have been working on Greek hand-writing, The uppercase letters are easy, but what about the lower case? I have seen a lot of printed variations...

I had really bad handwriting until I started writing in half caps. It's the curvy letters that pose the most problems for me. So, I do uppercase A, E, M, and N.

My husband, on the other hand, has handwriting even HE can't read.

I have to go really slowly to get good handwriting.

My writing is almost illegible, even I cannot read it very well.

I am ambidextrous and my other hand works better.

Yours is very neat. I also make a lot of mistakes when I write, which is why I prefer using a computer for writing. With the computer, I frequently end up substituting words, changing the order of the words in a sentence, or just rephrasing my sentences to make the message more clear.

I used to write somewhat decently with my left hand during elementary school. However, I've stopped practicing due to an increased amount of writing with which I just couldn't have kept up if I kept on using my left hand.

I also hold my writing utensil differently from other people, which might contribute to the neatness of my writing as it helps me keep the pen more stable and easier to control.

Actually, I almost forgot something:

At one point I took up calligraphy and developed a very nice Old English/Block-letter hand. I can still do it, too, though my pens are long lost. I used to do my high school term papers on cotton paper, and they were perfect EVERY TIME!! !

I'd like to learn Kurrentschrift, but I don't know if it'd be practical.

Well, you write like THIS????:

I knew someone who caould write like this, but I find it hardcore.

Yep!! ! That's IT!! ! lol

My block hand isn't QUITE that ornate, but that's the basic idea. Hardcore? Well, I think anyone who likes Kraftwerk is hardcore (I'm also a big fan).
