Your current avatar did have a strong influence on me, because the person (whoever he is) bears an exceedingly strong physical resemblance to me. So I reacted to your posts with more interest.

Good guess. But wrong... the symbol is from a video game. For me it represents happiness because of the good memories associated with it. I'm hardly an angry person, though I sound like I am sometimes. And it would be difficult for mean anything satanic for me as satan is little more than a villain in an old book to me (atheist.)

Still, I can see how you came to the conclusion you did.

Your avatar looks like an occult symbol to me, I woulda guessed you were in some magickal order, or at least interested in such things.

Heh, ironic really. The symbol is used by a company which develops high-tech equipment and new forms of energy. As far from magic as you can get.

I like avatars, particularly the funny ones, but I don't think the avatar influences my opinion on the post. That's all about what they're saying.

What does my current avatar say?

I think it says you've got fire, but it's also kind of amorphous... depersonalised. Maybe you've passions hidden in your dark depths that want to take shape and surface... I can vaguely make out the shape of a dragon, or is it a phoenix? Maybe you feel you've been reborn of late, or are in the process of being reborn.

I like this, it's like reading Tarot :-)

Interesting thread.

It never occurred to me that and avatar could have so much influence on how others see one. I always just used them as a sort of ID of the poster because I remember images easier than names.

Mine is just because I like Big Bang Theory and I've been compared to Sheldon (and I think that scene is hilarious).

Should I change it?

kinda yes, i remember people by there avatar, if you change your avatar it will f**k with me, i get very annoyed when people change it, and if they change it often, i wont pay any attention to them. personally for me, i have not change my avatar once.

although if i like them enough or dislike them enough, i will remember them by name, only if they make a big enough impression on me thou.

8O Well, if you start ignoring me, at least I'll know why! I haven't changed mine much lately, but I sure did a lot when I first signed up. I'm kind of settled on this one for the time being though. I like Jim Longworth for some reason. He's major NT too! Go figure!

So I finally got an avatar. Woo.

Sheldon is a great character, sometimes I feel I can connect to him. I have done some things he has done. Woops.

Mine is just a Yahoo cartoon that vaguely resembles me. I'm too lazy to change it. I'm interested in looking at the avatars, but more interested in what ppl have to say.

Probably. I made this avatar on the laptop mousepad in GIMP. When people change avatars, chances are I'll fail to recognize them.

Depending on who you ask. If it has been developed it can be explained.

Anyway, on topic; I have to admit if somebody changes their avatar I usually won't know who they are until I look at the name, I don't like avatar changes much.
