I've noticed that the OP waited for the dumb drummer to go to bed, before starting this topic. Little does she know that due to being on the spectrum, that my brain is larger than hers. She was hovering around, waiting for me to sign off.

sometimes i see new people on this site who start out as trolls, and eventually become decent posters.

i think the OP may have just been bored and looked for places on the net to create anatagonism just like playing a computer game where you try silly actions for fun.

when i got my last game (fps) the first thing i did was shoot all my platoon comrades in the head with my rifle to see what they would do.

they were only AI people i shot, and i found it extremely funny to behave in a completely psychopathic way in that scenario.

i think the OP thought in the same way about this site because they did not know anyone here, and they felt safe from guilt because they did not care about replies from people they did not know.

sometimes i see people who start out as trolls with no seeming conscience at all, who eventually are affected by the less than total refutation of their presence, and they start to feel sorry for their actions because they realize they kind of like the people who they at first did not know or care about.

rejecting people who are trolls is like having a minimum entry requirement for admission to a club. just because they came here with no knowledge or concern for who they spat their venom at, does not mean that they can not recoil somewhat and feel bad for realizing that they are talking to people who they may otherwise like.

they may realize by the fact that there are some very forgiving and accepting replies to what seems like unforgivable comments that they make, that they want to stop their stupid game and settle and join in with who they originally found on a search engine who they had a sterile motivation to play the game of attracting extreme dissent and rejection from.

i hope the person was not banned. i would hope that such a person as the OP would be given time to continue to post whatever vitriol they needed to post until they settled down and made a conciliatory post that showed that they realized they were wrong and wanted to stay and show their true colors.

whatever. i am going to plunge into sleep now like a mosquito into a black hole.

I quite agree.

Everyone was screaming troll around the time I joined, never bothered to ask who they were referring to in particular. A lot were also shouting about peoples diagnoses and disbelieving them and all that kind of thing.

I say, just join in with anything that is fun in a good natured way and withold judgement until the person discloses their true intentions either deliberately or otherwise.
