I'm Right Brained. I tend to think in pictures. I'm also more attatched to objects, than I am to people. I also have a special Image in my Mind's Eye, whenever I close my eyes, for a few brief seconds.

I am extremely left-brained according to most tests, and I'm not good at math.

O__________________________O

I sometimes wonder if I have dyscalculia or something, but I'm awesome at remembering dates and generally don't transpose numbers. I am not HORRIBLE with math, but it doesn't come naturally to me.

This was a good test, these are the results that I would expect top get. Usually score higher with he left brain on other tests.

Your percentage score for the left brain is 56%.
Your percentage score for the right brain is 44%.
You are more left-brained than right-brained. Your left brain controls the right side of your body. In addition to being known as left-brained, you are also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. You are able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. You usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides you step-by-step in a logical manner to your conclusion. Concise words, numerical and written formulas and technological systems are often forms of expression for you. Some occupations usually held by a left-brained person include a lab scientist, banker, judge, lawyer, mathematician, librarian, and skating judge.

Your left brain/right brain percentage was calculated by combining the individual scores of each half's sub-categories. They are as follows:

(if you didn't know, left-brain is logical and right-brain is creative)

After I read that lateralization article, it seems like AS is left-brain dominant.

Think about it... the article says the right brain deals with these aspects of language: intonation/accentuation, prosody, pragmatic, contextual. Those are exactly the things we have trouble with. And the left brain deals with: grammar/vocabulary, literal. And these are our strengths.

Plus, the left brain deals with logic which operates in a reductive, sequential, and rule-based way
WHEREAS
The right brain deals with intuition which operates in a holistic, random, and go-with-the-flow way.

I'm not saying there's no such thing as a right brain dominant Aspie, but I figure we must rely on the left brain more so than others. I just see such a big connection that I'm dead sure about it.

According to the 'Are you right- or left-brained?' tests, I am right-brained. I find myself kind of in the middle though... 3/4 right, 1/4 left, I guess.

Old topic is old.

Your percentage score for the left brain is 59%.
Your percentage score for the right brain is 41%.

Rightbrain/leftbrain and personality types confuse me in relation to autism. So many people get right-brained or intuitive yet it seems so contrary.
