It's OK. Sorry if I overreacted - it's just that CockneyRebel is a very close friend of mine and I hate it when her feelings get hurt. I know you meant well, but I couldn't tell that from over the Internet, especially since you didn't put "just kidding" afterwards. CockneyRebel would have probably took the comment the wrong way as well, which is why I sprang in to defend her. I realize that God probably does have a sense of humor, but not at other people's expense. One of the things you need to realize about WrongPlanet is that some of us don't like having our special interests made fun of, so you need to be more careful about what and who you make jokes about.[/quote]
No worries. I've not been in a lot of discussions with CockneyRebel, but CockneyRebel impresses me as a highly likable person. You're right to defend someone you care about. If I'm out of line, you should call me on it.

And I agree. I'm also a very literal-minded person, something many of us I'm sure struggle with.

On the other hand, CR has admitted to not being a Beatles fan, and I happen to be a fan of the Beatles, especially from the Revolver album forward as opposed to the heavily Elvis-influenced fluff of their early years. One of the happiest nights of my life was getting floor seats 18 rows back from the stage at a Paul McCartney concert. I figured since CR and I are both somewhat preoccupied with rock music, especially older bands like the Kinks and the Beatles, friendly jabs regarding their respective musical output could spark lively discussion. It's good to share special interests. If we all agreed, life would be terribly boring, wouldn't it?
