I think this thread has just become a way to irritate the troll. Something tells me someone is cooking up a way to deal with the troll, but the randomess is becoming funny.

Edit: I was attempting to respond to a deleted post. I would join in said flirting, but I have no clue how to. :?

I deleted mine because I saw in the thread at WP.net board that the troll isn't breaking any rules.

According to what I just read, Sallamandrina says no rules were broken, but she does not think it will not turn out well. I do think that whoever this troll is, he/she/it is good at trolling, so it may be a challenge to deal with this one. But that is for the mods to deal with.

Obvious troll ≠ Good troll

The community seem to have collectively decided it's a tall story, possibly posted with the intention of inflaming emotions. Maybe her son has progressed amazingly, but I don't see any evidence in the OP, just what seems like a probable apocryphal tale.

Everyone should be reminded that accusing others of trolling is against the rules. If you disbelieve the story, that's fine, disagree with the perspective offered.

By good, I mean the ability to troll without breaking rules. But yes this is an obvious troll.

Edit: understood moog, nothing further on trolling

1. What is trolling?

2. CountryGal, you can't cure your son. He is still neurologically wired like an autistic boy. You should see how he responds to what you do emotionally. Ask him if he's enjoying going out with the twins and playing catch. See how he would respond if suddenly his "former" interests became available. Would he go back to immersing himself in those interests or would he resort to his "newfound interests" for entertainment?

Trolling is intentionally disrupting the community by posting things to upset others or to create drama.

Yes, but the intent must be proven. You were accused of trolling in the past so you should know how it is - we would end up banning innocent posters who sometimes say unusual things if we weren't careful to make sure what their intentions really are.

Give the OP some time, she only made one post.

Trolling is also intentionally derailing the original post of a thread with pages of cat pictures and jokes at the OP's expense.
