Nice idea though. As is Santa Claus.

Agnostic atheism is a pretty interesting concept, I think.

However, I just fall under atheism.

I am an Aspie and believe there is something after life but am not so vain as the religious fanatics as to assign animate qualities to it, including a name such as "God". I think it is probably far more wonderful than anything that we mere mortals could ever conceive of and will just hold my opinions and wait to see what it is when the time comes. Doing otherwise would only serve to belittle what it might be.

The case for the existence of "something" after life is pretty well established logically by the various near death reports, especially those involving out of body experiences. The one that comes to mind the most is the one in which an individual in such an out of body state went outside of their hospital room and saw some verifiable object on the ledge outside (one report says a shoe, another says a tool) that nobody could possibly know was there and certainly not someone sick enough to be in a hospital bed. This cannot be explained away by the various physiological change rationales (oxygen deprivation etc) that are used to explain other near death experiences. Exactly what that "something" consists of remains to be seen though.

God is my special interest. :D :D :D
I believe in God, but I have an extremely logical mind. I've had a much harder time coming to the conclusion that God wants a relationship with each human and the emotional aspects that go along with that then there actually being a "higher being who created the universe" To me, mathematics are the ultimate truth and they corroborate there being at least an intelligent designer. But on the other hand, knowing who he is and why he created the universe and me how I am is another matter. I am a Christian, but I think that everyone needs to figure that out for themselves and truly research and look in to the matter. Half-done jobs of researching can either lead to Christians who have dogmatic views on bogus theologies, or atheist who "looked into Christianity once, but it had too many contradictions" IMHO.

But, in conclusions, I won't call those who don't believe in God "Stupid, sinful heathens" if you don't call us "Mindless believers in fairytales" kay? Labeling others like that is born of arrogance and is plain ignorant.

Erm...can I have another option please?

I'm a Pagan-Atheist - a combination of Scientific Pantheism and Sea of Faith Movement.
I believe in 'god' (gods/goddesses) not as a deity (deities) as such but as a figurehead or representation of the divine as being that of nature or existence itself, as the self-originating source of all being, but I also believe that my belief is just that; a belief. So your guess as to whether I believe in god - as well as what is god and what is belief. If we're talking specifically about god as the sole deity within Christianity (or some other monotheistic faith) then I'm henotheistic so I don't disbelieve.

The possibility of godlike creatures existing somewhere out there? I have faith in that idea.

I was raised Christian, I officially declared myself as agnostic by the time I was 15 but I stopped believing in god by the time I was 11. I remember asking the bible study leader when I was 11:

What happens to people who never heard of god, cause if you dont believe in god you cant be saved so if people never heard of god, its not there fault?

Something like that, probably not worded like that. And the person gave me a very lacking answer. I look back on that realizing that was probably a pretty deep Q for an 11 to ask. Ive asked that same question a periodically since, no ones given me a believable answer even very serious Christians who have thought a lot about god and the bible. To me believing in god basically goes against a lot of the way I view life, way to many flaws in logic.

I have believed in God all my life and been a Christian for 20 years. And you know what? I have wondered the same thing you have. What does happen to people who have never had the opportunity to hear of the Christian God's word? Like you, I have heard answers that don't quite answer it for me. But yet I believe in God. And yet I have many questions. I have sometimes wondered if God appears in different ways to different peoples---for example as one of the great spirits mentioned in American Indian religion.

Something else I have wondered is this: If a person makes it to Heaven, how can he/she be happy knowing that a loved one may have gone to hell?

Again, I am a Christian, and I believe in God---but I do have many questions.

To answer your last question, in heaven, we have perfect minds. In a perfect mind, we understand Gods holiness and perfectness. IN the book of revelation it says that we will want God to come back and destroy unbelievers. It is almost unfathomable in my mortal mind to want say my father to be destroyed because here and now I want him to be saved and would just break down and cry and cry if and when he dies. But when I have a perfect mind and understand the fullness of what God did for us and how unbelievers turn there backs on it, I wont be sad for it because my mind is perfect. Down here it is hard to understand, but God knows what he is doing :)

Good man, that God fellow is.

I grew up in a church but because I didn't like some of the rules and opinions of others (and had no idea how they would take my dx) I left. Also was mocked quite a bit there for challenging peoples opinions. And I kept fighting my political views with 'spiritual' ones, though I never grasped what spiritual meant.

I believe in the big bang theory and evolution now and love science more than anything so probably won't return to the church. I even test them by saying I'll come back only if I can believe in parallel worlds because I wanted to be free to believe in anything, no matter how ridiculous it sounded.

They laughed. They failed my test.

People can believe what they want to believe as long as they let me believe what I want to believe. I still believe in God because it's hard not to after spending 11 years in a Pentecostal church and before that being born into a Christian family who went to another domination of church.

God has so much mercy that he sent His Son to die on the cross for my sins and the sins of the world. God showed us the ultimate mercy. He is long suffering towards us that NONE should perish, but have everlasting life. Unfortunately the fact of the matter is that some people will reject God and cling to the world and things of the world,Its sad and terrible and I wish it wasnt so, but unfortunately God can not have fellowship with people who didnt accept him.
