it is quite surprising to me that you do not know that "asperger" is the surname of the person who the syndrome is named after. are you really a CEO? goodness. groundwork is essential.

what about him? i have never heard of him.

anyway, i could not care less about the structure of the word "asperger", and if you do, then i would question whether someone who is snagged on the pronunciation of a word that he does not even know the origins of, should be trusted as a CEO of operations like you allegedly are.

i do not fully understand what your sentence says. it sounds like you think i am "making fun of you" (being comical with respect to my dismissal of you). it is not really wise to engage me in conversation because i will say whatever comes to my mind, and it may grate you into dissatisfied shreds.
save yourself the calories of caring about what i write.

Ah oh the aspies are coming the aspies are coming. The initial post talked about humor specifically and that I tested it with another post. Your warning seems more like someone that is upset over the obvious. Asperger's is being removed from the DSM. Some that qualified before for an autism related diagnoses won't quality after. I did not create the words or DSM. In addition it must have been a German language conspiracy because obviously the word does sound like what people with a form of autism are laughing with concern.

So you would like to change the name of a disorder because a couple of idiots say ass burgers instead of Aspergers. Damn man, put on your big boy pants and learn to ignore biggots. My name rymes with fanny should I change my name because some idiots would call me that when I was a kid?

 It's perfect because at least you are due an apology perhaps from the media. Yet I am of the thought that it's simply a mental trick. Like the movie "Meet the Fockers". I went to that movie and confidently said meet the (bad word). Yet I heard everyone else say it that way. I was not liking the word.

Humor has sold many thousands of more candles. Comedy is an industry and CEO's without a sense of humor tend to be kind of like Ebenezer Scrooge with a stick up their butts. The go daddy.com model was built based on a president with a strong sense of humor who seemed morel like the sports type. It takes a strong personality, determination, innovation and yes a sense of humor otherwise stress will occur more often and loss of revenue due to the inability to make humor profitable.

Some of the best selling autism and developmental disability work products I have:

1. Baby's Butt
2. Monkey Farts
3. Brain Farts
4. Bite Me (especially relevant to this reply but back at me to.)
5. Hippie \ Redneck (sold out in test marketing
6. Pot Head
7. Reindeer Pooh (holiday sell outs 2 years)
8. Smelly Feet (solution for stinky feet in the room)

Hmm, you know the criteria are being written so as to include people who were previously diagnosed with Asperger's?

Yes I know. But at the same time I don't like some of the Aspies online because their radicalism that can't laugh at much. So I figured I'd say something technically true as some people are misdiagnosed originally.

i hope your list is appraised by more accommodating people than me in the short term future because i am headed toward my dock to recharge. you wasted your time replying to me sorry.

That;s ok because even if you are not laughing I am laughing and that is good for the health. Monkey Farts was on the front page of a local newspaper and has been a top seller since. I used to laugh at that name all the time then it got old.

Even if you want to act as if nothing applies to you as you take aim at my business mind it goes to show how much someone does not know about business that makes those judgments. I have thick skin anyways as the saying goes. Baby's Butt candles are purchased for baby shower gifts as per the ritual of giving a mother to be gifts prior to birth. So I was able to capitalize on that in benefit of others employment.

Pull my finger? Smell the Monkey Farts! 8O

I hate the word because I hate the disability with a vengance, so I don't say the word. I always say the abbreviated way, which is AS. If I did say it one day, however, I would probably pronounce it like ''Ass-bur-gers'' (the underlined bit is the bit I say loudest).

I can't help but laugh. Then I am being accused of laughing at the computer by the girlfriend like another person with autism at the day center she goes to. Then ass burger word said out-loud by her then laugh again. It's a vicious cycle of laugh and I need to find another funny as this one has gone on for over a month.

If I got on news and they say it like I've been offered to do before I won't be able to control myself.

When I hear people say it on the news I do not know why they are allowed to curse or realize it. Do they not realize what words it sounds like. Ok so here is a news piece about a person with A.S who also went on to get a PHD in psychology. He has a book about anxiety and is also very confident. That is why I wonder why it is considered a disability at all. However I think those with substantial disability who need help should be diagnosed ASD. I just think people who are that high functioning should be helping instead of what ASAN does which is create bad public relations with the public. They are hurting mroe then helping with inclusion and even if they do screw up public relations it's not like it will effect their lives (the leaders of it that are visible) because they do not depend on community support for adaptive supportive inclusion and otherwise succeed at college and self-inclusion reasonably.

Yes and Beetoven was a composer when he was deaf and Rick Hansen was an athlete when he was paralyzed. Just having a disability does not mean that you can't do anything, but is a bit more difficult, so we often ask for some accomodation. I had one in college and I used it exactly... never. And guess what? As a high-functioning person I do help others. I do training for autistic groups and I an writing a book.

So, how does it hurt excactly if we want to organize to help each other more easily? Just because you don't like it? Well there are lot of things I do't like in this world either, but they are going to exist whether I like them or not. For instance, I don't like you, but you're not going to go away.

If you were part of ASAN I'd talk to you like this..

Firstly you folks can stop calling people bigots when they are nice people. Stop going up against advocacy that seeks to help the isolated because people like me are not stigmas. I do not hate you I think folks like the top leadership are self-centered and a bit selfish because it's all about their image and themselves and autism. How about stop treating the public as if they are ignorant and bigots and be friendly. Also just because you don't get your ways does not mean the world hates people with autism and everyone has different thinking styles.

How about you help people be included instead of bashing the world around myself and others who do need help so that it creates hurt feelings. I do not trust ASAN people. I think they are far to self-centered to actually care enough that theirstyle cuase harm. The tactic of your a bigot if you don't agree or submit to a point of view simply is manipulative in how ASAN conducts itself.

So unless there is a bit more humility I won't let you folks anywhere near me because your a threat to progress and decent communication and relationships in awareness.

Wow, someone in ASAN must have turned you down for a date or something. I find everyone quite polite and helpful.
