Supposedly I'd guessed better than the people in the experiment before their brains were zapped. Better than how I thought I would do.

1st - guessed 50, correct 107
2nd - guessed 70, correct 101
3rd - guessed 80, correct 100
4th - guessed 50, correct 96
5th - guessed 100, correct 147

Guess I'm not a counting savant. Ah, well. I'll go with memorizing rare syndromes instead.

Sadly, I'm not a visual thinker. This test is not accurate for all autistic individuals. But on my second go, I was still able to get 1/5.

I averaged 2/5 and usually was about 6-10 off. I didn't try to actually count, but just guess an estimate.

In case anyone wants to take these types of tests from your iPad you can try this app out (Genius Dot Test):

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/geniusq-dot-test/id988222365?ls=1&mt=8

The app's blog is here:

https://geniusdottest.wordpress.com

This allows easy, medium, and hard tests, up to 1000 dots total. It also tracks your progress over time and graphs it for you.

Let me know what you think (:

Only one of my guesses was within 5, but I guessed 85, and the right number was 85. The rest of them were close, but a little more than 5 off. (But I think they were almost all less than 10 off). If they were in a grid pattern, I probably would have done a lot better, because I'm better at being able to see how many dots there are if they're in a grid pattern. I don't have to count, I just know, based on the pattern.
