I think in different ways, not necessarily English sentences. I might think in pictures, scenes, feelings (that I can't put into words), music, etc. I sometimes need to translate that into English, with some difficulty.

This happens to me frequently when I am writing (particularly when I am handwriting, since I can type as fast as I think). If I am writing (ie. in a journal), I always go back and proofread before I put the notebook away, and sometimes I am amazed at how many crucial words I left out, certain that I had written them in. My mind moves more quickly that my hands!

I do that too. For example, instead of "with the" I write "withe" because my mind is usually ahead of my writing. It makes some interesting word fusions...

I find it easier to think in numbers. But it's not always practical so I think in words too. I also have a photographic memory so I can think in pictures too, but that is a bit like seeing a photograph; it is static. I cannot see moving pictures in my head.

same here, to this day, but only when I am talking.

I think in phrases and in images but also I think it what I call "thought packages". Instead of thinking for a few minutes and coming to conclusions etc that whole thought process hits me in one go, as a feeling, a picture and a sound. So, I call this a thought package. I feel it rather than rationalizing it but it has the same effect.

I usually think in little movie clips rather than pictures
