I went nuts when the first photos of Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins were posted, and I know I'll have a massive freak-out when a trailer finally gets released.

Tim Burton and Johnny Dep are both on my 'list' of celebrities I'm allowed to step outside my marriage to sleep with. My wife points out I have more men on my list than she has on hers.

Some interesting obsessions, guys! Keep getting obsessed. :)

Mine has been 3 of the 4 aspects of Hip-Hop for quite some time now.
I'm somewhat of a rap nerd. I can name you random B sides from the 90s (I'm 17).
I can recite entire song lyrics by verbatim that weren't even written by me.
I have a very distinct hand writing because of my brushes with graffiti art (on paper).
I'm an avid freestyler, and can rap about just about anything when I'm in the mood.
I own many vinyl records that used to sample for beats a couple years back.
I'm extremely self absorbed, and not quite sure why I like rap so much.

Currently I've gone back to listening to the band Thursday since learning of their indefinite hiatus. Especially been trying to interpret Geoff's meanings to all of his songs in the album "War All The Time". Other than that, my obsession changes every couple of weeks, give or take.

Always nice to meet a fellow fan. :) I saw in your earlier post that you love Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a really good movie even though it's not one of my special interests. I know a guy at my mom's job who is so obsessed with it that he goes to the Nightmare-themed Haunted Mansion at Disneyland every Halloween, he has a Jack Skellington tattoo and for a brief period of time he had a dog named Sally.

Yep, the Haunted Mansion is awesome, especially when it's TNBC. I went to the museum of art in Los Angeles when they had the Tim Burton exhibit a while ago. They had stuff like costumes from Batman, the Edward Scissorhands suit, Beetlejuice stuff, Nightmare stuff...it was awesome.

Lucky! I wanted to go to that exhibit so badly, but I can't drive and nobody would drive me there, so I missed it. I came really close to tears over not being able to go. But at least Tim himself wasn't there, or else I would have had a full-blown meltdown over missing it.
Would you be able to take a bus or a train? You would have to plan ahead and maybe even book a hotel for a night or two (if it's long distance) but at least you would be able to go to the next exhibit.

My obsessions are:
Pigs -I just recently cleaned out a whole pig's head that I got from the supermarket, and I hope to get everything off of it before it smells (it's for the skull.) I didn't have one of my own already and I wasn't about to order one off the Internet as it costs about $60 without including the shipping and handling. It been taking a while to clean, and the worst part was having to clean the inside of the head, as that was tedious. But at least I didn't have to pay too much for it.

Star Wars -Right now I can't watch the Clone Wars series until my computer gets fixed, so I'm waiting for some books to come out instead. SW: Darth Plagueis and SW: Wrath of Darth Maul are coming out sometime in early January, so I don't have that much longer to wait.

Duke Nukem Pigcops -I find these creatures so fascinating. They are one of my major obsessions, and 'Pigs' is an offshoot of this. I think out of all the versions of pigcops, the ones in Duke Nukem: Manhatten Project look the best and the ones in Duke Nukem 3D have the best idea (they are mutated police officers.) If in the future the game developers ever combined the awesome look of the MP's pigs and the idea of DN3D's, I would be overcome with pure joy. :D

Meerkats, veternary medicine, Sonic the hedgehog, and zoology. Now that I think about it, every obsession I have ever had, was animal related.

I am, and have always have been obsessed with anything you can do with a computer. I isolate myself around them for 4-5 days a week sometimes; days can past without me going outside or even communicating with a human being so I can spend time with them. I've built them, can program them have networked them so on. I like tinkering virtual machines, remote logins, overclocking, cross platform programing etc.

Probably get the picture now

I usually stay with one interest for a couple months and switch to another one.

These are my main obsessions. In obsessive mood I do one of these things 6-9 hours without paying any attention to anything else.

Knitting
Piano, music theory
Reading (romantic books, thrillers, fantasy, scifi)
Collecting
Some TV-series
Heroes of M&M
Mathematic and physics
Powerlifting :D (this thing took several years of my life, I forgot all my other obesessions because of this. Now my obsession on training has deminished and I'm able to be more versitile with my obsessions) This is rather funny obsession because I' a little girl 160 cm/55 kg (dunno what this is in "english") Orher weird obsession for woman was hunting. Well, preparing for hunting. Few months I spent reading everything about hunting. I should start that obsession again...

The I get sudden obsessions. Currently I'm obsessed in discovering Asperger and sense of humor. Here in Finland we had this stupid comedy serie which everybody liked except me, so I'm studying theory of humor from internet, library books and watching documents (internet).

I also found out recently that my obsessive behavious is not common. I always thought it is normal... Maybe that's because I don't interact with other people very much... s**t, I'm weirdo.
