I'd say that writing, reading, painting, playing instruments, dancing, architecture and philosophy come natural to me but my interest and by interest I mean what utterly and definitely fascinates me is mathematics and science. I am no that good at mathematics and I also have dyslexia, and I think dyscalculia so that doesn't help.
I avoided using the words creativity and art since your poll seems to imply that they are mutually exclusive which they are not.
Now if it helps my thought process is very right sided I would say, I think in pictures, more like a 3D film sequence, definitively very arts-y and psychedelic but the way I manage my life and do things is very left sided, OCD-ish, organised and orderly.

I like art and creativity. I'm not real good at painting, but I do like to write and draw things using computer stuff. Starting when I was 12 I began drawing up ideas for a tattoo I wanted to get. It wasn't long until I had it roughly the way I wanted it. I have revised that idea a bit since then. Now that I just turned 18, I am ready to make the commitment and get the tattoo put on me for real.

I'm bad at math and science, but I've always had a passion for art. Drawing is my favorite hobby, though I don't do it nearly as often as I did when I was younger. I used to go through entire sketchbooks in about 2 weeks. Now it takes months. Not that I'm less imaginative than I used to be - I'm just less motivated. I'm not sure why.

Both!

As a kid I found basic math to be a snore, but I discovered in high school and college that I really love calculus (I too have synesthesia actually)! Now I'm working on my PhD in Biology. However, I also write/illustrate/publish comic books, make flutes, throw pottery, paint, play music as a side job, etc.

I think people who are phenomenal artists are particularly good at observation, a key ingredient to being a good scientist or mathematician as well. If only more artists appreciated the science of their subject matter, and if more scientists appreciated the art in what they do, both disciplines would be greatly aided imo.

A little bit of both, I guess. I've never been good at most math, but I love analyzing statistics; I could stare at spreadsheets all day and not get bored. On the other hand, I am a writer by trade, and I can appreciate music, art, photography, architecture, and design.

I like art and other forms of creative expression, but math and numbers are my forte.

What? There's a difference?
Math is classically defined as "the art of expression." It is only recently that society has decided to cut math off from creativity, thanks to misguided educators who constantly piss off mathematicians with the way they constantly destroy maths.

One mathematician described the math curriculum as being "Empty and hollow. Math has already been taken out of the curriculum. Math reform is similar to beating a dead horse."

I'm more inclined to express creativity through art, especially writing. Math always bored and frustrated me. I can keep track of specific dates and numbers if I consider them important, but the kind of math you do in school is something else. I was never very good at that.

Art and creativity have always been what satisfies my spirit, but math and numbers satisfy my logical mind. I love them both but am probably best at art and creativity. Being creative with numbers is also fun, I love patterns. I also enjoy budgeting! That's a form of creativity; working the numbers into categories and amounts.

I refuse to vote on this poll.

One of my favourite definitions of mathematics is the art of explanation.

If you take away the art and creativity from mathematics what you are left with is mechanical manipulation of symbols.

You can also describe mathematics as the art of developing symbol sets and rules for manipulating symbol sets, and then exploring the characteristics of all possible systems that conform to the defined rules. In short, mathematicians use their creativity to develop symbolic languages.

Applied mathematicians develop symbol sets and associated rules with the objective of arriving at languages that are useful for describing phenomena observed in the natural world.

!@#$% :-)

I am relieved to see that others have already commented along similar lines.

Art and Creativity are my forte. I am known by most of those around me as a musician. I have performed professionally since the 9th grade. I play organ and keyboards, trombone, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer and harmonica. I also love to write creatively. I am working on a couple books right now. I also have the outlines of two musicals I want to work on.

As far as math and numbers? Math was a strong point for me in school. And I have always enjoyed categorizing things according to numbers like keeping notebooks of the square footage of house plans, roller coasters, etc. But art and creativity are my greater strengths. I am a talent savant in music (able to play musical instruments I become fascinated with, in little time and without lessons). I also memorized the statistics of all the roller coasters in North America when I was a child (without trying).

Definitely art and creativity.
I am not good with math at all.

considering the stereotype it's interesting that art and creativity is at 70%.

Art and creativity has been my lifelong strong points/gifted areas, even, while mathematics was my most seriously hopeless subject in school. In fact, the teachers were actually baffled at how I was an "A+ student" and shone at every other subject and even showed giftedness in several, but was practically at a level of considerable learning disability in just Math.

It was the 60s and 70s, I wasn't diagnosed, autism at anything but severe level wasn't understood, and they couldn't understand why I was exceptional in some areas and needing remedial classes in Math.

Now that I'm diagnosed I'm told I have a typical "spiky profile" of wildly varying ability, which fits the picture.
