I shower at least once a day in the morning and wash myself at the sink in the evening. When I get sweaty working out, or have been out and about in the summer, I take a second shower in the afternoon or evening.

If I didn't work and if I didn't incorporate a shower into my nightly routine it would be once a week or less.
But my routine tells me Sunday through Thursday at 10pm I must get in the shower. But I can't or won't use soap.

I did like the Queen Elizabeth bathe quote though.

When I'm home alone, I simply delay getting dressed a few minutes until I dry off completely, so I do some of my morning routine without clothing... When around others, I just put on my underwear for the same period.

For me it takes a full half hour to dry off enough to be comfortable putting clothing on, sometimes longer. I have a bathrobe that I wear until I can get dressed though.

I don't usually have that problem although there have been times where if I try to get dressed too fast after a shower it's like the clothes stick to me and feel funny and don't want to go on right.

I do have to be careful about when I wash my hair. My hair is waist length and thick and takes a long time to dry. I don't use a hair dryer on it and let it dry naturally. It's really annoying in winter when I've gone out with damp hair and it freezes.

I bathe every other day or every 3-4 days. I don't have a routine, but when my scalp starts feeling gross and itchy, it is time.
I also love to be wet, but don't love to be wet afterwards. I love swimming, but I hate the feeling of water droplets on my skin when I'm not in the water anymore. I also really dislike the feeling of my wet hair on my skin after I've washed it. Number one reason why I go so long without bathing is wet hair. I have very curly and fine hair and it takes hours to dry.
Number two reason is it feels like a waste of time to shower everyday. Takes 20 minutes to do all the washing, untangling of my hair, rinsing, conditioning, etc. Then got to dry off and get dressed, another 10 min. Then there is the wet hair feeling that continues for 4-5 hours after I am done. So for 4 hours a day, I will feel disrupted, uncomfortable, and sticky on my neck. Not worth it to do everyday.

I'm actually surprised how many here shower daily. It's unhealthy and it wastes water. Furthermore, it's a drag. The only reason why people do it is because of the cultural norm. It's a social thing that has very little to do with sanitation and I would of expected that truly objective people won't needlessly partake in it.

I once conducted a little unwashing experiment (1 month). My brother said I didn't smell, and he's generally very straightforward with such things.

I always feel that my hair is greasy if I don't shower daily, and my grandparents would freak about cleanliness. It also wakes me up in the morning

cultural norm is like a prison for sheep that can't think for themselves.

Every day. Sometimes every other day. I get all dirty from playing rugby the majority of my week. :P

A bunch of people say they have problems with hair taking too long to dry...why not just cut it short?

I like my long hair. It's almost a fetish for me too because I'm far more likely to be attracted to someone if they have long hair. The idea of cutting my hair horrifies me. I want what the long hair forums refer to as "terminal length" (growing your hair as long as you can). I think I'll need to take better care of it or I may have already reached it.

Here is a picture of my hair. The picture is 4 months old and I still need it trimmed a bit.

I shower mostly every other day when it's cold, and every day when it's warm. I spray my hair with dry shampoo and I wash my body on the off-days.

I shower every other day because its too much effort to shower everyday. it even takes a lot of effort to do it this much. My hair always itches and I have a special shampoo that I use for itchy hair. I also take a medicine for it. I itch all the time but sometimes its the worst when I am trying to fall asleep. I love stuff. Right now I am depressed but I like being a realist because that makes me more in touch with reality than the average person. Right now I ain't eating much. Maybe I will lose weight! I am very fat. I break scales.

I never ever wash my hair. Call me radical. I refuse to do it.

I am too embarrassed to say the last time I took a bath. I better do it right now.

Once a day at the very least. Can be up to 4 times a day though. I rather like baths.

Every day, maybe twice a day if I've been exercising. I don't particularly like washing my hair, but have to do it every day or two as it is really oily and ends up looking like a rat's nest.

I used to bathe once a week when I was a kid, that is the schedule that my mom set me on. It was hard to force myself to shower more often when I hit puberty and got smelly. I hate the sensation of water evaporating off my skin. It feels like I am in a bubble of humidity and it is suffocating.

Until a few weeks ago, I was showering twice a week/ every 3-4 days. I started exercising to lose weight and I need to shower after. I don't like the sensation of sweat. (Which explains why I need to lose weight.) The shower relives the sweaty sensation so it actually becomes something to look forward to.

I cant make myself shower more than once a week, or ocassionally depending on what I've done in a day I might shower a couple of times in a week. It is such a process and a horrible one at that. When I was an infant I screamed my head off every time they tried to bathe me, I made baby sitters nervous wreks because of it, or so I am told. It was a nightmare, still is. The water hurts, the shampoo gets in my eyes, I am always slipping and falling, and because I need to follow my routines I'm in the shower for over 45 minutes usually which then makes my dad and many other people really pissed off im wasting all the water. Even when I was 10 I had to be taken into the bath screaming and crying because of it all. Blah I can relate to hating showering/bathing. But if ya smell there isn't much choice in the matter haha.
