i selected 90-109 (average) with mild AS i dont know if the mild AS thing is accurate though. my social issues are mild (i guess in my opinion) but my executive functioning skills are pretty severe (which probally effects the iq alot) also the last time i had my iq taken was in highschool when i was going through depression and that can bring down scores as well.

edit: i just read the first post on this with the defenitions of mild, moderate, and severe, and i guess i am more on the moderate defenition but i cant change my vote

A few months back, I took an online IQ test that was EXTREMELY CLOSE to an official IQ test. I scored 130+ for my verbal IQ, performance IQ, and full-scale IQ. As for severity of AS, my AS/HFA would be mild since I can function on my own without any assistance.

I scored 130 in my IQ test and I was literally diagnosed with mild Aspergers (Or they told me so) But then it's funny how every single internet aspie test I have taken my score were always quite 'severe'

The internet tests tend to be about number of traits, not severity of traits.

Yes, they are non-clinical terms...but if you read the original post, there are definitions of the terms for the uses of this poll.
True... I'm probably mild or moderate, then. I have never tried living completely on my own without any assistance, so it's very hard for me to tell if I could or not. So far, I couldn't afford trying because that would probably mean finding a full-time job in a field in which I could work comfortably, for which I would be underqualified at this point (and education is freaking expensive).

I have an IQ of 160 (WAIS tested) and I have severe Asperger's because my social worker said that I am not in supported housing (ie shared housing with carers) for my psychosis (as I am much better now in terms of that although I'm still on antipsychotics), but because of my Asperger's. I cannot look after my own affairs. I cannot go out far alone either, and nor can I do the fortnightly shopping at all, not even with someone, so I use online shopping deliveries.

I have never taken a IQ test, and it wouldn't be accurate because I have a math disability. I'm smart but I'd get any math related questions wrong.

I'm always unsure of IQ scores though because when I did a test I pretty much got the same type of question wrong throughout- the rest I pretty much scored all correct-- and it was the -if all lawyers are cheats and at cheats get rich then all lawyers are rich- true/false, style questions. Which I always treated as a mathematical equation until someone explained to me it was a statement I had to judge logical or not, not an equation. Since learning that I have become much better at those questions. So if I took it again not I don't know if it would be any different- but my main inhibition was not quite understanding the question. They made us do intelligence tests at school but didn't give us the results- I only found out I was within the top 15 in the year because my end of year exams had come out at the bottom end of the year so I had to have special meetings with the year head. (I wasn't diagnosed then and I always found it bizarre how they thought doing well on a test about visualising folded pieces of paper etc. would mean I was good at geography.)

It would be fun to do another test and see though. Maybe someone should try writing an IQ test specifically for people on the spectrum see if it comes out any different. And IQ can change too, like how you can learn to adapt to appear more mild than moderate with AS etc.
