That has happened to all of us here on WP at one point or another.

Without facial hair, I don't know... some say my long hair makes me look younger but I don't give a damn about that - I like my hair. :P
With facial hair people think I look older than I am.
I know some people who think they look younger than they are and they say "So it's a good thing" for future terms, yes it can indeed be a good thing. But I also think looking older has it's positives. :D Perhaps you'll look more well travelled or something...

Younger. But I live in California, and very few people here actually look their age. Plastic surgery is very popular in this neck of the woods, and people end up looking less and less like themselves, and more and more like each other.

I'm 25, from about 16 I was considered to look young for my age. I'm from the UK and remember being asked for ID at pubs and bars when I was around 19 or 20 (you can drink at 18 here), and only 2 years ago someone asked for ID when I'd gone for cider at the corner shop cos they thought I was dressed like a 16-year-old, luckily someone there knew I was old enough so I got served. Now I can pass for around 22 so can easily buy alcohol. I think I'll be glad if I still looked 22 when I get to my 30's or 40's.

On my last birthday (my 27th), one of my colleagues told me she thought I was older than that (my inexorably-receding hairline is to blame, I imagine). And when I had my goatee and was wearing my old greatcoat - at about age 21 - I was once stopped by someone doing a survey... who was looking for people in their thirties :(

By contrast, my mum is really young-looking. Apparently people often mistake her for my older sister, when she's less than a month shy of fifty 8O

*cries*

I look younger than I am. I'm 23 years old, but I get people saying that I look like I could be in high school. It's annoying now, but I'm sure it's a good thing in the long run. It might make it easier to score chicks who are younger than me when I'm 40. :)

My dad, who is also an aspie, looks quite a bit younger than his real age. He's approaching his 55th birthday but doesn't look very old. Might look like he's 45 and probably much younger if he would get his ass into shape.

I figure if I continue to take good care of myself I'll look good for a long time.

I really wonder why it is that aspies look younger than they are. Might have something to do with neoteny.

Most people assume I'm 40-43 years old, actually I'm 48. There are days when I feel like I'm way over 50. 8O

I look my age I'd say, so I voted "I look exactly my age." People usually guess around the right age. When I was 13 someone guessed my age as 15... When I was 14, 15, 16 and 17 people asked if I was 18 yet... when I was 17 one person guessed my age as 17... when I was 18 one person guessed my age as 18 or 19, one as 17 or 18... I'm 19 and had one person guess my age as 16...

I look younger than my actual age. People are often surprised when I tell them my age.

Me too! I am 41 but people usually put me in my early 30's. I know people in their 30's that look 10 years older than me!
