Have you ever tried Efexor? I recommend it for heavy duty depression. It lifted me out of a suicidal depression and I now have a part time job so it's working well for me.


I don't want to take anything that messes with my serotonin levels, those kind of drugs really screw me up and make me a danger to myself any others.

My local MP has joined in a lot with mental health debates and that kind of thing so hopefully he'll be a bit more on the ball.


Hmmm but you're not worried about what the ketamine and amphetamine are doing to your system?

I find that a bit ironic!

their both, safe, widely prescribed drugs that I have a lot of experience with and have had no problems... why should I be worried?

I also keep a journal of any possible side effects I'm having so to that extent I'm at least cautious but not worried as I've used them a lot in the past with no problems and as I say their widely prescribed and safe it's not like I'm smoking cannabis or anything like that.

amphetamines are prescribed for depression and ADHD.
ketamine is a widely used anesthetic and also used to treat pain. it's been used since vietnam so for quite a long time. ketamine is so safe it can be used without an anesthetist being present, it takes 10x the anesthetic dose to reach the LD50 and use for depression is way below the anesthetic dose.

and also that the only recorded problems with ketamine are been bladder problems with heavy chronic users and hallucinations in high doses.... I don't use high doses I also quite enjoy the hallucinations so that side effect isn't an issue in my case.

How do you spend your time?

there not illegal their prohibited and legal for medical use and the place where I've got a job knows I do drugs, infact I worked for them before and they where prepared to write to my Dr to say how well they helped me.

besides I think you should be able to do what you want so long as it isn't causing a problem. I'd probably not disclose to them that I'm into BSDM though I should imagine I'd talk about it at work.

I'd expect your being into BDSM will go down a storm in the workplace too as sex, drinking and
drug taking seem to be the staple topics of workplace discussion these days.

I'd expect your being into BDSM will go down a storm in the workplace too as sex, drinking and
drug taking seem to be the staple topics of workplace discussion these days.


I like the way you assume it's an illegal drug habit are you a lawyer or a doctor? I'm not diagnosed with any form of drug dependency etc... so I wouldn't call it a habit and the drugs have both legal and illegal uses.

Amphetamines and ketamine are illegal drugs and you seem to need them, indicating a habit/addiction of some kind

But if your employer is happy for you to take them that's great

I think you'll have a little more difficulty getting them on the NHS

You'd still need to pay for your prescription anyway or have you got your sources within the NHS anyway?

Anything goes in your world doesn't it?

I don't need them to alleviate the effects of taking them in the first place.
Amphetamines and ketamine are also legal drugs...

I pay for drugs at the moment, I don't see how paying for prescriptions makes any difference, I've paid for lots of prescriptions in the past.
