I feel more youthful at night than I do in the morning.

If not for the fact that I work a day job, I'd probably go to sleep at like 2-3am and wake up at around 10:30-11am. In general, I feel like I'm able to focus better on things in the evening. My mom recounts how I would make a big fuss when she made me stop playing with my Lego sets ate at night when I was a kid; I suspect I would've kept at it until I fell asleep in a pile of Lego bricks if I could.

Generally, midnight - 6am is my best time of "day." I like people best when they're asleep.

I generally feel better in the morning, but here's the caveat... Only on a work day. On work days, work slowly drains me and then at night I feel completely discombobulated. On a non-work day/weekend, though, I feel better at night.

Morning, morning, morning! I feel so refreshed and happy in the morning, due to the sunrise and not many people being awake. 7-9 am is my best.

Personally I'm kind of lethargic in the morning and at night. I think I'm more of a middle of the day person.

There's a reason that could explain why people tend to gravitate to staying up late though. There was a psychological experiment done where people lived in an enclosure for a while without any sort of way to tell time available to them. There were no windows, and the people were able to completely control everything about their environment, including when they had lights on or off, when they chose to sleep, and for how long.

The result is that people started out on their 24 hour routine, but all gradually shifted to what ended up being more of a 30-something hour day schedule (with something like 10-12 hours of sleep followed by 20-24 hours of being awake, if I remember correctly).

So it seems out natural sleep/waking rythym doesn't quite go along with the earth's 24 hour day. The result is that we constantly want to stay up later and sleep in longer than we can when we have to go on the 24 hour day schedule.

I feel good all the time, because I pursue my special interests all the time, so I feel good pursuing them at 8 am and at 8 pm and at 2 pm and at 2 am.

At night when humans slumber and when sensory issues stop.

People the world over seem to hate mornings (and Mondays), but I tend to feel best mid-morning (9-11:30). I've fully woken up, still have plenty of energy, and haven't had much time to be upset or disturbed by anything.
