Considering how I am the self-proclaimed (and sometimes voluntarily) "worst person in the world since Josef Stalin", my collectivist score is higher than I expected.

BTW cultural background influences the scores, some cultures are collectivist...

Western cultures (particularly northern Europe) are highly individual...

My feelings on collectivism and individualism are complicated by how I feel about the specific groups in question, and from what I can see, most of the big groups (nation, city, workplace) are hierarchies with an agenda that isn't in the best interests of the people in those groups. This questionnaire doesn't fall too badly into the trap of assuming that low loyalty to mainstream society or the nation state is evidence of an anti-collective streak.
