I had haircutting yesterday. Haircutting by itself was not so unpleasant, but removing cut hair from my body was quite long process (about 1 hour). If the hair would be on my clothes, it would make them markedy uncomfortable...

I've always hated going to the barber's; for whatever reason, it's just an uncomfortable experience to me. I'm assuming it's the constant touching, but even more so it's the awkward small talk which is forced throughout the entire thing. I've alleviated a bit of that by finding another barber shop which is Korean-owned and the barbers barely even talk to me, but it's still a little unpleasant.

As of now, I have a short, regular haircut, which I prefer. I've had long hair and mohawks in the past, but I'm sticking with something "normal" for the time being.

I dislike getting my hair cut. I hate having someone else lightly touch my hair or head. I also hate having to make awkward small talk especially if there are other people waiting nearby who can overhear the conversation (or lack of.) Finally I hate that my image has changed so drastically. I usually let my hair grow quite long (2 months) so when I eventually get it cut, the change can be a bit disturbing. Preservation of sameness in action I suspect.
