In my dream sensory room I would have a crash mat, a trampoline, a swing, a knotted rope hanging from the ceiling to swing/hang on, weighted blankets, lava lamp(s) and other calming visual stimuli (like slowly changing, vividly colored lights), a rocking chair, a punching bag, never-ending bubble wrap and lots of fidgets with bits that click and/or spin, a chin-up bar, music, a medicine ball, foam balls to throw at the walls and rubber ones to bounce off of them, a spin disc, a scooter board, and a hopper ball. And I would sound-proof it.
That sounds great Animalcrackers. I like the rocking chair idea, I think I need to add one to the diagram of my dream room too! I was just looking into the scooter board and hopper ball the other day as I was perusing Amazon for more ideas, I think those would be fun!

Oooo, that's awesome. For popping? Large bubbles or large sheets of bubbles? (I like the little bubbles that are about the size of m&m's)
I want someone to make bubble wrap that pops and then un-pops itself. There is a type of electronic bubble-wrap simulator, but I want something like the infinite popping edamame keychain at Stimtasic, except in bubble wrap form.

I love rocking chairs. My grandparents bought one for my parents when I was born, and I grew up playing on it (and sitting on it and rocking normally, but mostly when I was older). It's mine now since my mom passed away (my dad is still alive -- they were divorced) and when I finally move back into my own place I will get to use it again!

Me too. I bet you could make a scooter board pretty easily. (I might do that someday, if I ever move into a house with some space where I could play on it.)
I've never used a hopper ball, but I bet it would be awesome.
I forgot balance boards -- I would have my balance boards in my dream sensory room, too, along with velcro or magnetic darts.

about 1&1/3" in size, sheets of them accumulated from products ordered online over the decades, used as packing material. also have the m and m sized ones but I like the bigger ones better as they are easier for my fingers to pop plus they make a more satisfying [to me] POP! sound and feel.
