An other typical behaviour of manipulators is:
Saying "This is true",
when they have just told you that This is wrong.

(Seeing nothing wrong with contradicting themselves)

This is manipulative technique, helping to spot a manipulator.
(although not sufficient to say "this is a manipulator", but very typical).
